Lowe's is the ONLY store that sells the KOBALT toolbox--because they hold the rights to Kobalt tools. (That isn't to say you won't find them at flea markets or eBay) My husband keeps me informed--and uses Kobalt tools for work--and at home. I have 2 of the mini-Kolbalt boxes--and I think I was the first to share my pink one in the group--along with my Heart of America quilt on my design wall. My pink Kolbalt box is on my sewing table with small items, like small rulers--like the Creative Grid shop rulers, my walking foot, and some small sewing feet that I switch and use often. Packs of sewing machine needles, etc.
I work at Lowes and we had gotten in more colors. They sold out fast. I had a customer that bought some black ones and a group she is involved with prints out the Singer label and stencils and they put them on the black kobalt tool boxes. I bought myself a pink one before Christmas.
Hi Pat! One of my friends showed me a pic of the little toolbox. We have 2 Lowe's & the one closest to me only had the black, navy & white in the store. I teased Randy "they'll only hold a couple pair of scissors 🤣" Although seeing you show it in person, it looks a tiny bit bigger. I think the Duchess needs to sit on the pink one for her pedestal!! You would still be able to access the drawers!
Pat, I have a box similar to your new metal ones. Mine is plastic; I use it to store notions I use regularly. I love it! Because yours is metal, you might consider lining the bottom of the drawers with a piece of felt. Things won’t slide or rattle as much.
I do have them and I use them for my packs of needles, packs of blades and such that needs to be close to my sewing machine. Very useful. I am glad you found them @Pat Sloan
I enjoy watching you go through your fabric baskets. I use a 6 X 12 inch cutting ruler to fold my fabrics a uniform size then use the ruler to push the fabric into the box I use. It helps me get more in and keep my boxes neater. Still, I have to repeat often. Gives me an opportunity to see them again.
I drank the Kool Aid too and bought two pink tool boxes, one for me and one for my adult daughter. I put cross stitch supplies in mine. My magnetic needle minders are all lined up on the inside of the lid. So cute!
Pearl bracelets! That’s the best news, thanks for sharing that. I actually just used my last little piece of pearl bracelets. So excited to hear there will be more :)
Omg the gloss organizers are great! I have used them for like 30 years! It helps to save all the pieces of floss you only use a little of. Can you tell I am a bit frugal! Haha. Hope you enjoy them!
I drank the Koolaid last week. I bought 7 to put next to many machines for their tools. I also the black ones will have the featherweight decals on them for my old Singers.
Thank you for sharing the Christmas Tree stars quilt! I am a newer quilter. I purchased Christmas fabric to make my first Christmas quilt. The star tree pattern is lovely! The book is now on order. :)

I bought a white one for small things. Put my featherweight things in there.

Don't confuse Wendy's Figgy Pudding quilt pattern with Lella Boutique's Figgy Pudding quilt pattern. They are so different.

Which of the fabrics in the flag panel would you use for binding? I have only a small place to display so will not be adding extra borders.
