Groundbreaking Allergy Trial Uses Everyday Foods to Treat Severe Allergies

The foundation set up for Natasha Ednan-Laperouse shares their ‘revolutionary’ findings from allergy testing they have been doing.
This is the first time a trial of this size has been conducted using everyday foods - not pharmaceutical drugs. It aims to show that everyday foods containing peanuts or milk, which are taken carefully under medical supervision, can be used as an alternative to expensive pharmaceutical drugs to desensitise patients.
5-year-old Charlie has a severe milk allergy but since going on a new allergy trial he has been tolerating the milk that he was previously allergic to.
