    Its more than welcoming to see a Corsair decent product to have a good price, especially against the competition. Excellent review as always!

    Top notch review as always. I hope Corsair revises the fan tuning for noise. If it does, this will be the defacto SFX PSU for many.

    Interesting Im trying to buy a corsair SF750 if it ever gets back in stock.
    SF750 is a lot smaller and much better cables.
    Why are the new 3.0 psu seem to be well overpriced and rubbish...

  • @gucky4717
    @gucky4717 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I use the SF750 PSU from Corsair with my 4090FE. It runs fine even at 600W OC, but then the PSU fan might be a bit loud. :D
    At normal use around 400W, I don't think that one even spins, but I also have a 120mm fan above the exhaust pulling air out, since the PSU is mounted internally.

    Hello sir,
    so, i have problem with UPS APC BX2200MI-MS that cannot use modern Power Supply that has "Active PFC" because simulated sine waves stuff.
    when checking some product i found this "Corsair SF1000L" does not have "Active PFC" which is good, kind of planning to buy this one in future
    how much do you recommend Corsair SF1000L for my case?
    i also found out that Seasonic Focus doesn't have APFC, just another option but cost more
    previously i use Seasonic Prime PX-1000, but it has APFC and now it dead

    • @HardwareBusters
      @HardwareBusters  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      All the PSUs you mention have APFC, and work well with this specific UPS you mention. It is rather difficult to find a branded PSU not working well with a simulated waveform UPS.

      @@HardwareBusters i see, i read the spec from their websites and they didn't put Active PFC so i assume they don't have it

    Hey man, I'm wondering which is better, Corsair SF850L or SF750? I currently have the SF600w and I'm using the 5600x and have bought the 4070 TI. I'm not sure if I can use the GPU with my current power supply. Also, the SF750w in my country is almost the same if not 5% more expensive than the SF850L.

    • @HardwareBusters
      @HardwareBusters  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If your chassis can accommodate and SFX-L PSU, then go for the SF850L.

  • @puciohenzap891

    Isn't the 1000W ASUS Loki actually more interesting? It's €40 more expensive but goes from Gold to Platinum rating and according to reviews, it's much queieter.
    I can't choose between the ASUS and the Corsair honestly. Something tells me the ASUS is overall a better quality unit (parts wise)?
    Also I think I see the Corsair is using those afwul, stiff flat cables again?

      @@HardwareBusters No worries, would be interesting to see if it uses the same platform as the 850W one, just with uprated parts.

    thx for your informative video. i have a question. i want to choose a sfx-L psu for a sapphire rx7900xt nitro which has 3x 8pin pcie connector points. but on the loki 1000w i see that there is only 3 times pcie connector point, so 1 for cpu and the other 2 for gpu. so for this gpu i choose there is only 2x 8 pin outsite the psu. so i see many builds that use 2 pcie cables but one of them they use the y splited so that sey can connect the y cable with "2" pcie and the second with one pcie. is this ok or should i go with a psu that has one extra pcie output to abllbe able to connect 1x cpu 8 pin then 3x gpu 8 pin (3 cables sepperately)? thx

      @HardwareBusters  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is not ideal to use a piggy tail for the GPU, but if there is no other option, you should try it. Most likely you won't have any problems.

      @@HardwareBusters thx for the help! the loki is a good and quiet psu but then i will not choose it. so there is the new silverstone , the sf1000l and the thermaltake 1000w but all of them are louder i think. maybe i will try to fit a atx psu then. thx!

    I don't really care for SFX-L, the point is small, I want a ATX 3.0 850 W upgrade for my SF 750 Plat.

      Also way too noisy, if I'm going to make the SFX-L compromise on size, I want at least Titanium efficiency and very quiet.

    Can anyone tell me whether the Corsair SF1000l 1000w 80+ gold power supply has a 12 VHPWR plug, full 600W? I'm asking because the Thermaltake ToughPower SFX Gold 1000W power supply is supposedly 600W in the description, and after ordering and unpacking, to my surprise, the plug is only 450W?

    • @HardwareBusters

    Are these Japanese capacitors? On Corsair website it states Industrial grade 105°C-rated Japanese primary electrolytic capacitors… usually this is marketed as 100 percent Japanese capacitors. Is this a marketing scheme or is Corsair just using different marketing language but they really are 100 percent Japanese capacitors…?

    • @HardwareBusters
      @HardwareBusters  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because of huge shortages in caps, many brands can use equivalent parts (non-Japanese). To be frank, Japanese caps are a marketing tool and not always the best possible solution.
