Pro tip: There are three points in your head in which you can draw tracking markets where the skin doesn't move no matter what expression you make:
-Just slightly below the point between your eyes.
-Your earlobes.
This should help with the orientation of the eyes.

This used to be a moustache and beard maker for for people who don't have beard and moustache and also don't have a wig but have a 3d model of their face in blender (via keen tools). But ended up as face tracking ;) Yeah whatever this is a great tutorial.
You don't need trackers at all, Blender can track perfectly without them.
But there is that whole tutorial on head tracking without markers that works exactly the same as with markers- just turns out the Blender tracker is so good that it can track the patterns in skin :P
Keentools has a face tracker as well that even does deformations. It's for nuke though...

Hello! I have a question... How do you have de wireframe activated but at the same tine you can see ur ref video, so you can match exactly the movement...? When i put my reference video, it has to be in render mode in order to see it, but then i can't see through de head mesh.. so i can't match properly de movement..
At this stage I just suggest you get trackers tattooed

Yo guys need help about the FaceBuilder addon where in Pin Mode the face mesh itself is far away from the camera and the FOV is weird, and when I edit it it deforms the wrong way (camera clips through the mesh), tried tweaking the camera's focal length but nope, doesn't work. Y'all have had the same issue?
if you can't move your nose then how will you animate it if you are doing DIY face tracking and you want to add face expressions?
i got a reprojection error of 0.00 before i even got a chance to put that focal length
