    I didn't know until I saw this that tripod solves can happen with less than 8 markers. It was amazing to see that solve of .20 with only 6 markers and no filtering necessary. 👍🏻

    Such an amazing tutorial! I tracked a helmet on a head a few months back, but couldn’t figure out how to get the shadows right. Using a cryptomatte never occurred to me, such an awesome trick. Thank you for all the info!!!

    I am so glad you're back making tutorials! So long ago (about 9 years!), when you were "alcohol addicted", you were the first teacher I found that I watched over and over again to learn Blender for the first time. You were my first introduction to Blender for VFX! But being a Blender noob, I had to watch your tutorials many many times to pick up just some basics. Now I can understand more, and it's great to again see you and your teaching style! So clear (but kinda fast at points -- it's okay, I just keep replaying and replaying every few seconds ;)) and kinda funny. Keep making them please! Thank you and welcome back!

    • @Blendfx
      @Blendfx  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks a lot! Makes me happy you find it useful! :) Just a note though, I never was alcoholadicted, that was just a dude who uploaded the tutorials from the Blender training DVDs to his own TH-cam channel. Which is both annoying and good, it is a bit of a ripoff, but on the other hand they are creative commons anyway, and this way they were available to more people. Anyway, cheers! :)

    • @harlanrumjahn9992
      @harlanrumjahn9992 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Blendfx Ooops, I'm sorry Sebastian, I didn't mean to support a ripoff! I had no idea! But watching your videos (over and over again) really was one of my first introductions/inspirations to Blender. So I'm still very thankful to you, and I'm glad, at least through one means, I found you. I gotta unsubscribe to that other dude now! I also have to buy more Blender bling to make up for my unintentional transgression ;) Take care!

    The sheer amount of instinctual knowlege from this man in his own voice with bgm going HARD, making me want to make a building just to blow it all up. You should be on literally the top , i hope youre doing better , the pandemic was a phase that doesnt fade away easily .
    The tools we have now , with teachers such as yours , its a bright future for the world, Imagination is the only limit,
    I wanted a refresher on tracking and you just wiped me clean and reinstalled a better more efficient version,
    Dude, i swear to god, We need to hear more and get to know the core fundamentals of just "thugging it out in post".
    As much as people hate thinking about doing exxtreme changes in shots and vfx, which is
    But when i am on my own time,i sit down and pull out random footage and do any vfx i can , not saying any of it was good lmao, but some i made made a mark in my circle of people , the worse the footage is , the more fun it gets.
    This is a huge commnt so
    TLDR:
    Man=Grandmaster,
    Passion over everything,
    Ive been on it for long ,
    But you just dont stop because it means someting to 'yourself',
    why think about limits where the limits are nonexistent.
    'Not a problem'
    have that in mind,
    i say this the same way i do to myself.
