In this new tutorial you will learn how to track your head in 3D space and add a full cg 3d asset, helmet, mask to it!
I will show you the tracking process with Geo Tracker for After Effects from KeenTools
WIth this tracker you are able to create an object track, head track object tracking in 3d space and add a 3d element, asset to it!
I will also show you some really cool compositing tricks, like a holdout matte and a depth matte for the parts that need to be visible within the mask or helmet.
You will also learn how to use image based lighting IBL within after effects with the help of an environment light and an hdri. As a special tip I will show you how to create an HDR Image on your own from whatever you need, in my case my TH-cam studio and how to use that to lighten your scene and also be visible within your reflections.

There are a lot of primitives such as boxes or tubes and you can upload your own. So whatever suits your needs!

Hi, what to do if my KEEN TOOLS does not display play for tracking.

I have been scouring the internet for an answer for years now. Maybe you can help. Let's say you have a shot of your hand with all the fingers moving individually and grabbing say a coke can and you want to replace that hand with a CG one with accurate tracks all the fingers accurately. How would you do this?
2 ways:
1. Motion tracking gloves
2. Track each part of each Finger individually

Like you....i import both .glb and .obj formats...but it doesn't work
3:56: The EXPORT FILE file is in OBJ format, why does it have the GLB format when you import it?
I converted it for the tutorial, but by now both file formats are working!!

Hey please please could you please make your next tutorial on about geo tracker once again but this time with more versatile and much more deep dive in it, for example put a hat on somebody head and hat should be a hole in centre and the guy is moving here and there with wearing that hat made by or putting by geotracker, would you please do it in action for your next video It's demand or eish of All of us😢
A person with a hat? And the hat has a hole in it? That is the exact same workflow as shown in the Ironman tutorial!!
