Its tough wanting to have the best of both worlds. I am sure if you call it quits and go back to India, after a period of time you will miss the nice things of living abroad like the work environment, amenities, cleanliness, easy to move around and travel, and a lot more unique things about living abroad. Its an adjustment and getting used to it and taking it in the right stride in conjunction with mingling with the locals and having lot of friends etc. Good Luck with whatever you do and I don't think you are ready to take that step and you wont especially once you have kids.
You always miss your country of origin. But you have to consider all the practical aspects of life. Once you get used to the disciplined life in Germany, have a good command on the language, earning a decent amount etc. It will be difficult to readjust to indian life. I knew a fellow who left US and came back to India and after 2 years came back to US but got a less desirable job and could not find the beautiful house he had before. So please choose very wisely. Don't make the decision on a day when you are down. It will always be the wrong decision

im from urban bangalore, and there seem to be a few similarities! we also have an appointment culture, chaat is a 30 minute auto waiting period and 10 minutes of traffic. there isnt any snow, but we too keep in touch with our bangalorean friends that live 20+ km away via phone call, video call or months of planning :) slight language barrier if you only speak english, because some folks here only speka either hindi or kannada. we have maids, plumbers, etc but most people tend to live in small 4 person households, and a new ikea has opened recently, which means we too will be assembling furniture.
Well, grass is always greener on the other side. I left Germany 3 years ago, for all above reasons, I don't want to leave my family to learn other country language and make friends abroad . And now I earn more than both of you combined in Bangalore. Love the decision I made. I get a lot of time to spend with my wife whom I love because she is not always busy working , I also take my mother on trips go clubbing with my brothers and play ps4 with my college friends . Money and other materialistic things looses value over certain limit, only relationship matters Professional as well as personal.
Your decision is great and suits you. However there are many people who prefer traveling and migrating in different countries for various purposes - be it learning new culture, new language and trying new food and also experiencing a better lifestyle. I, on the other hand, would prefer Germany - not just because of the lifestyle but also because I wouldn't have people asking me too many personal questions like "Beta shaadi kab kar rahe ho, beta baccha kab paida karoge, beta kab ye karoge beta kab wo karoge". In most Western countries, the best part is you get to live a life which doesnt fall in other's radar of judgement. Also speaking of the pay, your case might be an exception. Try comparing the lifestyle of a Garbage man in Germany and India and you'd see a mighty difference.
We (Me , wife, and 2 kids) came to Germany from Sri Lanka on last December 2021 after being with our families with having fun , parties events and all in Sri Lanka, Our feelings are exactly same as what you are describing here. Missing home a lot. And it was the bad time we came during the winter and it affected a lot for these feelings i guess. Hoping this will be okay after sometime. May be there is a chance we go back to Sri Lanka next year if we do not recover :). One possibility if you leave Germany, is to take German Passport first , then wahan se migrate to USA. Yahan its all English. Weather bhi USA mein utna thand nahi hai. Indian Passport se it is difficult, lekin once you get German Passport, it is easier to get US Permanent Residency and then subsequently US Citizenship.
I don't know why we Indians go to non-English countries. At least we know little bit of English. There are 5 English countries, US UK Can Aus NZ. Pick one.

Coping tip: Rise before sunrise and do yoga and meditate, and sleep early, follow the Sun, as people did before electricity. I like your Rajasthan vlogs, have you been to Pushkar, Bramha's temple, it is the only one in the world is what I heard. How did humans windup in Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Norway and such freezing places, I wonder if they got lost and kept going north instead of south.
you shot the video in a very very lucky 'sunny' day in winter. Should have done it in a regular gray depressing winter day which is typical of Germany. Winter is worse in Germany. but summer is equally good.
I respect your POV however I would readily trade my Indian life for a life in a country where 1) Taxes are utilized for healthcare n education 2) Nobody is spitting pan on the road 3) Society is not super divided, extremely rich citizens enjoying all privelages while middle class n lower middle class struggles. 4) IT professional at a salary of 40 lacs may still struggle to buy a home, a decent car and decent lifestyle. 5) People privacy is respected n cared for. 6) Inner city roads are maintained. 7) Garbage collection is organized and you don't find garabage thrown on both sides of the highway like AH51 8) Cities are not polluted to dangerous levels, AQI of Pune is 160+ during afternoon 9) Climate chnage is accepted and worked upon unlike mumbai administration which is building underground subways in the most low lying regions of Mumbai. 10) Would love to miss the stupid politicians and their retarded family/friends banner on the roads. Well these are just my reasons and POV. If I would go to any other nation where first language is not English, i would learn their language as well. It's like if you work in south Indian states you cannot expect locals to speak Hindi, they will speak their mother tongue. So best of luck to all immigration aspirants and I pray you all get to immigrate to a first world country.
Dude.. you are living in a delusional world. And to be honest and direct with you, you are super misinformed about many things you wrote. Its not where you live but your mindset that matters . I don’t know you more than what you have written here, So I have no right to say this but still here it goes… just based on what you have written.. you’ll end up cribbing wherever you live… more so in a developed country… Please wake up!
@@shivinunitholi2493 For Germany: 1. It's not very cosmopolitan, you will feel like an outsider always while sitting in a group you might not able to relate to their jokes, conversation etc. 2. Net money saved in your account is really less because of high progressive taxes. I understand you get a lot of facilities in return. But my friend that's only when you are living there, suppose you want to return or go to different country, buy a new car, house etc. you need money, govt won't help you there 3. Germany is not very digital in nature overall, you will feel they are 20 years behind if you compare it with India. They are still doing a lot of paper work. Things move pretty slow there, whether you want a new internet connection or there is some bank work. 4. If your goal is to become rich, Germany is not for you. 5. You can't bring your parents for long term 6. You need to do everything on your own, whether fixing your appliances, furniture, you can't order food like you do in India using Zomato/Swiggy anytime you want. 7. Climate - India is best in the whole world where we get best of sun around the year unlike Germany. And still we see all 4 seasons in just 1 year. 8. Indian food you will miss there for sure There are many .. but Germany is a great country to live not a doubt but with it's own negatives, I am not saying India is better or Germany is better, all I am saying is no country is perfect, grass looks greener on the other side.
I have a question on courses by Lingoda. Is the certificate provided by Lingoda valid in case of PR process / immigration in Germany?? Or after taking courses in Lingoda , we need to register for A1-C1 levels outside ?

Biggest tip I can give is invest in good winter clothing. Es gibt kein schlechtes Wetter, nur schlechte Kleidung - There is no bad weather, just bad clothing. A mantra many Germans I know live by. Invest in a good jacket and good pair of shoes, similar to UGG shoes, with a lining made of natural wool woven. Get winter hats which are lined with fleece on the inside and a warm pair of gloves. And, finally, add a pinch of positive attitude! Good luck!

To your last point, sense of belongingness. Germans have a nice word for that: Zugehörigkeitsgefühl ;)
Hello Kaki Shilpa, you're doing a great job providing such a useful information for hindi/urdu speaking people. I have seen lot of videos about asylum process in Germany but I believe if you make one that will be the best one as your technique of providing information is absolutely different from others. Waiting for your response and stay blessed both of you guys. You are not only in prayers of Indians but many Pakistani as well. Take care during the extreme weather there.
Thanks Shilpa Beti, I'll surely invite you guys to Berlin at my place on my Birthday in May as I will be there then. Stay blessed both of you
I recommend you to check this term "hygge". It's a danish tradition that discusses coziness in winter
Sure we will check it 😀
How sweet.... lovely smile and excellent communication skills.... beautiful face.... enviable simplicity and innocence.

I am biggest chatori, but i can make everything at home. I will make in germany as well and definately invite you 😀😀😀
That would be awesome 🤩
Aur hamesha ki tarah yeh video bhi bhaut hi achi aur informative. ❤❤
Please avoid using the cinematic/portrait mode. I personally love seeing the background and also feel it makes the video feel more natural (especially when not using a camera)
Sure 😀
No it's good as it is!
heyy! am coming to Germany in feb but am having a lot of trouble in finding accommodation in berlin 😢. am so excited to start my new life in Germany!!!🥰❤
Pick one.
चाहे जितनी समस्याएं हैं , ऐडवेंचर का अपना अलग ही आनन्द है । बहुत खूबसूरत दृश्य हैं ।❤️❤️🙏🙏
Mam please make a video for commerce background students. Regarding courses we can do after BBA from public universities. And what are the requirements for the same.??
Sure we will try 😀
@@FlyingAbroad Thank you 🤗
As usual, I liked it.

All emotions and feelings for Indian chat, samosas are clearly visible.😂
Wonderful video as usual. 👍
Ekdm shi
you shot the video in a very very lucky 'sunny' day in winter. Should have done it in a regular gray depressing winter day which is typical of Germany. Winter is worse in Germany. but summer is equally good.
I respect your POV however I would readily trade my Indian life for a life in a country where
1) Taxes are utilized for healthcare n education
2) Nobody is spitting pan on the road
3) Society is not super divided, extremely rich citizens enjoying all privelages while middle class n lower middle class struggles.
4) IT professional at a salary of 40 lacs may still struggle to buy a home, a decent car and decent lifestyle.
5) People privacy is respected n cared for.
6) Inner city roads are maintained.
7) Garbage collection is organized and you don't find garabage thrown on both sides of the highway like AH51
8) Cities are not polluted to dangerous levels, AQI of Pune is 160+ during afternoon
9) Climate chnage is accepted and worked upon unlike mumbai administration which is building underground subways in the most low lying regions of Mumbai.
@@pruthvi6310599862 will let you know when the alarm goes off...
Yeah you are right but the negatives can be experienced while living in developed country only. From India, everything looks super rosy.
@@eshantgarg401 enlighten us what's the negatives of living abroad especially in a country like Germany
@@shivinunitholi2493 For Germany:
1. It's not very cosmopolitan, you will feel like an outsider always while sitting in a group you might not able to relate to their jokes, conversation etc.
2. Net money saved in your account is really less because of high progressive taxes. I understand you get a lot of facilities in return. But my friend that's only when you are living there, suppose you want to return or go to different country, buy a new car, house etc. you need money, govt won't help you there
3. Germany is not very digital in nature overall, you will feel they are 20 years behind if you compare it with India. They are still doing a lot of paper work. Things move pretty slow there, whether you want a new internet connection or there is some bank work.
4. If your goal is to become rich, Germany is not for you.
5. You can't bring your parents for long term
6. You need to do everything on your own, whether fixing your appliances, furniture, you can't order food like you do in India
using Zomato/Swiggy anytime you want.
7. Climate - India is best in the whole world where we get best of sun around the year unlike Germany. And still we see all 4 seasons in just 1 year.
8. Indian food you will miss there for sure
There are many .. but Germany is a great country to live not a doubt but with it's own negatives, I am not saying India is better or Germany is better, all I am saying is no country is perfect, grass looks greener on the other side.
Thank you ma'am aap harbaar kitni achi information dete ho...lots of love from india❤️
Please stay in germany 👍👍

I have a question on courses by Lingoda. Is the certificate provided by Lingoda valid in case of PR process / immigration in Germany?? Or after taking courses in Lingoda , we need to register for A1-C1 levels outside ?
Never heard of Lingoda, it's a hoax!
Thank you for highlighting dilemmas. We left Germany one month back. But we still enjoy your videos. Wish you good luck.

the green screen thing was awesome. btw it shows your superb camera quality and shilpa ma'am aap news anchor in disguise ho.
We are having same kind of life in United States except that English is our second language. Long winters especially if you are living in East coast.
Good luck!
Shimla ke winter's bhe Germany jese he rehte he 5bje Raat ho jate he 9.30am tak sun nekalta he and temperature bhe semilar he rehta he.

Plz tell something about there food ...very nice video dear and knowledgable also.
Its about adapting and integrating or giving up. I can imagine food issues. I have found generally Indians are not very adventurous when it comes to trying different food.
Madam really good, as per video we knew lot about Germany, culture is entirely different , cities are very clean and neat , in India, it is not possible, because over crowded thick population.
