This is some Atomspiltter vibes, but modernized.
I love this game because of not only the arcade-y-ness, but the soundtrack is so good.
A legitamate rollercoaster of emotions, especially on Legend difficulty.
I'm 100% convinced the soundtrack is inspired by split second.

@@avalanche450Imagine this game having the same mechanics as Split Second. The game would still be the same, but you can explode things if you press X or Circle (or A and B for Xbox players).
This reminds me to NFS The Run, the time ticking, the car revving higher and higher, the intense and nervous soundtrack, everything fits perfectly
I love the fact that the music, in the style of GTA V, adapts itself to the situation, when you have a nemesis in front or when you hit a wall, a true masterpiece
I love it, the soundtrack makes the game more intense. This is what I wanted in the racing games.
Shame most people playing the game are playing the story mode with the soundtrack on low, since it's that way by default and you have to edit your sound settings yourself.
Then again, if you play on Manual, it's hard to shift gears if you can't hear the engine reving.
@@MariusUrucu I mean what can they do when the second you're uploading a racing game clip playing copyrighted song in the background, chances are your videos are inaccessible to other countries
@@adlibbed2138 But the song isn't copyrighted tho, at least as far as I'm aware
@@MariusUrucu which is true, but still depending on company/record labe/whatever, even original game music can be a subject to copyright (ie. anything Ubisoft) these days, which only reinforces my overall point
@@adlibbed2138 Yeah, I never took that into account, you're right.
I'm not too worried when it comes to videogame OSTs, especially racing games OST's featured in my videos when I have a confidence they're not copyrighted, but then again, racing game content isn't my primary form of content to begin with. I can see how that would be more worrying for channels that do this for a living.

Grid are turning into Ace Combat of racing game. I liked it!
Ian Livingstone's inspiration for the themes came from Ace Combat, and the Japanese announcer in GRID 1's drift events is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, the voice behind Ace Combat Zero's Pixy.
The title is exactly what i said the first time i played it.
This game really makes you feel like you're racing for something BIG. But then you do elimination and with music like this and it kinda makes you want to stay in...

The race where you race at night with a Ford GT and the Seneca theme playing... absolute peak driving
I think the story mode's dynamic ost is underrated, I wish it was easier to find...
The song playing for Chapter 21 specifically is called the Ravenwest theme

Should try 'Vroom' soundtrack imo this is the best soundtrack in Grid series
2:16, 5:10 wait, don't tell me the music in this game is actually in sync with what you do in the races, because that would make it cooler for sure? Btw the camera angles are beautiful too.

Иногда создается впечталение, что на codemasters кто то надожил порчу. Это очень не справедливо, что эта игра прошла мимо практически всех, ведь она же действительно не плохая, я поиграл с удовольствием.
