    Great video mate. Keep them coming. I checked out the bags you linked, they are almost exactly double the price lol. I'm still gonna get em and try em. I just got almost the same sissy, I got a fold down one to hold a can from viking bags for my 20 sporty iron special, was a nightmare to install, had to remove all the struts, covers, lights etc, all with the tire on because I don't have a cheap lift, my other one took a crap. N e ways, I see you have a serious channel too and I like your approaches. Good job mate

    Ive been eyeballing these bags, i usually just strap a tall backpacking gear back on the sissy bar and go, but want some more "safe" from sticky fingers and water storage for if i stretch out and take the little sporty for a trip. Always been busy taking bags OFF my bikes until needed, first time wanting to get a pair for runs...

    Bought '22 Honda Super Cub and saddlebags are the one thing I've been struggling with. I've been putting some real money into it to "make it mine" and not just buying cheap things that will fall off, but saddlebags... damn. I get that "you get what you pay for", but I don't really need $600+ saddlebags on a bike that isn't going more than 15 miles a day. I COULD buy the Honda hard bags that are meant for the bike, but $400 and shipping would be almost another $200 from Japan.
    The struggle is real.

    • @ZozzerRidez
      @ZozzerRidez  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oh I feel the struggle. I'm 1k into my current set of bags. These were a great option if you want hard bags. with $100 more you could spruce them up more with sturdier mounts, a police style guard rail, better weather stripping etc. More options and less fear of damage with these IMO.

    • @ZozzerRidez
      @ZozzerRidez  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So far so good. I commute about 40 miles all freeway and I haven't had a problem. Not a ton of miles with them tho. As far as storage space they're much better than my old bag with a sock cut out meant for this model. Only thing is they do bounce a little and if you have something like a lock you'll hear it in there. But for 80 odd bucks I definitely can't complain.

    • @ZozzerRidez
      @ZozzerRidez  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Unfortunately I don't have the bike any longer, however I would reccomend them especially if you upgrade the mounts to wobble a little less. But even without they did very well. Dropped on both bags, no major cracks.

    Do the bags still have that “slim” look to the bike? Or does it look a little bulky I have a swing arm bag on mine I like it but it’s a bit small lol and how would the bag hold up with the V&S pipes you think the exhaust would hit the bag and maybe melt it?

    • @ZozzerRidez
      @ZozzerRidez  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They sit pretty close to the bike, slimmer than my leather over the shock bags with more room. As for personal taste there are a few shots of the rear. I recently put on an upswept 2into1 and it has a couple inches of clearance to the bags and they don't get hot. You choose where the bags mount though, so you can give it the clearance you want when installing.

    They'd look better if they were on right. Key front, hinge rear.

    • @raysult
      @raysult 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      NO ! You would never want them to open from the front to the back. That is absolutely backwards. For so many reasons. The number one reason is if the latch / lock ever breaks, or you don't have closed and latched correctly, the wind will blow it open and probably break the lid.
      Also.... Look at any hard saddle bag that has an integrated light in it. The light is always in the back of course, and they always open back to front.
      Key / lock always in back. Hinge ALWAYS in front
