  • Lower Torque Box Reinforcements: lmr.com/item/L...
    This lower torque box reinforcement kit is manufactured from eleven gauge steel, so it will add plenty of beef to those aging, factory torque boxes. They will feature bolt in or weld in installation, however we do recommend welding them into place to further maximize the strength of the reinforcements. All needed hardware is included with the support plates and brackets.
    Mustang Fitment: 1979 (79), 1980 (80), 1981 (81), 1982 (82), 1983 (83), 1984 (84), 1985 (85), 1986 (86), 1987 (87), 1988 (88), 1989 (89), 1990 (90), 1991 (91), 1992 (92), 1993 (93), 1994 (94), 1995 (95), 1996 (96), 1997 (97), 1998 (98), 1999 (99), 2000 (00), 2001 (01), 2002 (02), 2003 (03), 2004 (04) All (Excludes 99-04 Cobra w/ IRS)

    Perhaps you should do an install video for those of us with 94-04 mustangs so you can show us how much we need to trim out of the opening to get these to fit. It's not just 94-95 mustangs that need to do some trimming.

    Anyone know if the bolts on the uppers and lowers stick through enough to cut into the back seat of the hatchback models? I can't check for clearance since my whole car is torn apart.
    I see some people put the nut on the underside of the car to gain a few more millimeters of clearance.

    Get beefier ones and Weld all of it. Weld any part of it and make it strong. Just witnessed some starting to tear off and have to be overhauled. Don't bolt them in , seriously.

      Dillon Nipp bolt them & weld them & add the competition engineering plates,then weld those as well as the perimeter of the torque box itself & use mm full length subs,yes do that.

    good after noon LMR. I have a question, I'm in the middle of an issue with my 1990 Mustang Gt in which I'm trying to install a Double Din stereo. But the thing is, my shifter will most likely hit the screen. so I was wondering if you can make a video of how to lower the AC noobs to the bottom and the stereo to the top with the proper material. thank you.

      Josue Sanchez just heat up and bend your shifter handle, this is especially easy with manual cars

    What kind of paint did you use after the install?

    • @Elver_Galarga_jugo
      @Elver_Galarga_jugo 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      PJ Customs the kind that protects surfaces... Lol. Seriously though it doesn't matter, it's just so it won't rust so you can do Rust-Oleum or car paint or anything that will protect the metak

    Whats the padding called under the rear seat on the floor? Is there a replacement piece/part no. for it? I pulled mine and its a bit worse for wear.
