I didn't know this band LUNA that manages a sound with wonderful harmonies so well, it really has been a great discovery. I am David De La hoz greetings from Barranquilla Colombia.
Wow they sound great! chinatown was perfect. Bowery tickets are in hand and I'm hoping they swing by Boston too. Might as well, being on the east coast and whatnot.
Fantastic! Great set list. “23 Minutes…” is such a timeless, cosmic jam, and I really dug this performance of it. Always thought it sounded like it’d be just absurdly fun to play. Great to hear a cut from “Pup Tent,” too, an eponymous one, as it were. [I wonder if they ever play “IHOP” and/or “Beautiful View,” the latter of which still confounds me in how it didn’t bubble to the surface and become a MASSIVE hit and MTV staple during the height of the ‘Alternative Nation’ ‘90’s. Just sayin’.] Also, very much enjoyed the casual interview following the set. They seem like such nice, humble, gracious people. It touched me to see that. Loved Britta’s enthusiasm for talking about current listening. To chill with Luna and spin some Lee Hazelwood and Nina Simone rekkids would be the coolest thing. Oh, and the way Britta described connecting with audiences was aces, too. I’ve loved the band for a long time, and hearing her say those things makes rooting for Luna, its members, and all their various projects easier than ever, if that’s even possible. I do hope that next time they’ll include a cut off “Romantica,” an album I think is criminally underrated…maybe even one of its fantastic deep cuts, like the fun and suggestively sexy, “Orange Peel,” or the vivid, slice-of-life cool, “Renée is Crying,” which opens with two lines which are so quirkily authentic, they provide all the justification someone could possibly need to seek out and hear everything Wareham has ever written and to commit to Luna for the long haul. Simply marvelous chemistry and musicianship, not to mention a modern-guitar nerd’s wet dream-band. 😋
One of the most rafined performances I have heard latelly .. and I was only intrigued by the name of the band.. this sound is as matured as one of those Bitto cheeses on the Alps..
@@ladders. Isn't Brussels an ode to Suicide? The track is named after Suicide's notorious live recording. Televisions Tom Verlaine did play on the original version of Brussels though.
I know Luna since the 90's
Then i got goosepumps all over my body, listen them with headphones.
Today i still get those pumps.
They are timeless
This band is so damn good, glad they’re still out there doing their thing.

Was lucky enough to catch em 3 times on this tour, totally worth the trip, one of the best bands right now.
The first indie rock band I've ever fell in love with, good to see they're still active
Such an elegant performance. So much wisdom in this silences, spaces and erratic sounds.
The songs sound better than ever! Luna ages like a fine wine! Hope for a tour soon!
Una gran bocanada de aire fresco. Sublimes Luna como siempre, una delicia para los oídos.
Y antes como Galaxie 500!

Opening with a talking heads cover. Nicely done.

Luna are like warm honey butter poured all over me.
Feel like I'm in 80's
23 Minutes in Brussels=The Velvet Underground...on steroids! Outstanding performance.
One of the most rafined performances I have heard latelly .. and I was only intrigued by the name of the band.. this sound is as matured as one of those Bitto cheeses on the Alps..
Wonder how many folks know Sending Me an Angel is a Talking Heads song?
"Thank You For Sending Me An Angel" (Rock & Roll) and "23 Minutes In Brussels" (Sweet Jane) have strong Velvet Underground vibes. Very pleasant.
Agreed!
"Angel" is a Talking Heads cover and "Brussels" is an ode to Television
@@ladders. Cool to know, thanks! I'm sticking with the VU vibes, though :)
Your not wrong.

Cada día mas parecido al Flaco Spinetta
Pero sin la generación de tedio profundo.
@@SquirrelSeb84 ud no sabe de lo que habla, sin un Spinetta no hubiese existido un Gustavo Cerati.
Underrated band, honestly I even prefer them over Galaxie 500
I am hearing early Jason Pierce Spaceman and Spiritualized vibes here. No bad thing!!!
