I appreciate how this channel just reads the stories and doesn't necessarily give an opinion. It's all very down to earth and as a skeptic who wants to believe it's very refreshing Also just in general I like how the stories read are more believable and not hyped up to cartoonish proportions
You can always tell the stories where the writer added fluff or just made it up: they put in too many descriptive words as if they're writing a novel. Nobody talks like that in real life and nobody would describe situations like that in an email.
@@bobbyrebholz2183 When they see the spirit for 0.5 sec and explain how it had long curly hair waist-length with exactly 2 grey strands, a particular facial expression and also a miniscule birthmark on the lower right eyelid (and Winnie the Pooh slippers)
@@saafiiiraa Subliminal messages are by definition intended to be registered by subconsciousness, which means nobody is consciously aware of the information that was fed to them. This means people cannot reproduce the message or any of its details and your argument becomes invalid. What it COULD explain is why people feel discomfort in a situation for which their subconscious has stored warning signs yet seems totally new to them on a conscious level. But they would never be able to register so many details. There have also been many experiments that show our conscious recollection of details is far worse than we all think, which makes eye witness accounts pretty unreliable, as people are convinced they saw e.g. someone with a blue cap, while in reality it was red. The fact they are convinced also means they cannot be caught lying, as they are telling the truth as far as they know.
You deserve to have an amazing day as well!!Thank you from Ohio 💞. I have brain cancer and yesterday was a horrible day for me 🤕. Hopefully tomorrow will be better 🙏
FYI: I have a playlist of just paranormal/ghost/cryptid/demonic etc stories by Let's Read, if you're interested. Bc they're my favorite too!! ❤️ (Esp the story about the lamb music box someone found, with a demon attached to it & how the person who took it off their hands ended up being related to the Warrens. Which then a replica of it is seen in 1 of The Conjuring movies)
One of my neighbours houses would often have growling or barking coming from it. Indentations on soft furniture when you'd enter a room which would go when you go in, leaving a feeling of anger/sorrow. Turns out about 50 years ago the owners had a large dog who was killed in a home invasion. The family left because they thought the trauma and memories was driving them nuts; They could still feel him. Nah. Turns out good ol' boy was still there trying to protect his home. Became protective when he noticed people who weren't his people in his home. I always hoped they'd try to do something about him because it wasn't fair he was stuck there. And it's heavily believed if a ghost stays here unhappy too long they can warp, turn dangerous. Which also isn't fair. I moved away with time and I don't know what happened but every time I hear about ghost stories I remember this and get so sad. :(
Hmmmm…Never heard the theory of “warping ghosts” that become frustrated by remaining on earth. I’m not sure I believe it. None of us truly knows what happens to us when we die.
My brothers son hearing it every day hes 17y old dude believe him with everything i gave him that advice even hes mom heard it on christmas eve he has mechanical keyboard wich are kinda loud
@@kurtmuller6750 Agree. I've even heard you should avoid front door mats that say "Welcome." I really don't know if these kinds of cautions are necessary or not, but better to be safe than sorry in case they are.
I'm litetally living in a haunted house and here I am listening to this and to add more spookiness it's almost 3AM the Demonic hour. I cannot sleep because the damn ghost in the kitchen keeps playing with the plates again, if the damned thing wont play with the door bell it plays with the plates.
How can science determine what a ghost or presence is if we have no tech that can detect it or communicate with it? I do believe in the paranormal btw...I never had my belief in anything change so quickly until I had my first experience
Wanted to say hello Joel....from Northern Virginia. Can't get enough of your channel. I would like to see more from your cat....sorry forgot its name.....😊
Bad ass opening! Edit: Also, amazing vibes and bad ass background ambience! I'm not big on paranormal stories, but these were awesome. The thing about paranormal stories are that sometimes they are hard to believe. You nailed this tho!
I actually had a weird paranormal incident a few years ago. My uncle was out of town so my mom and I went to his house to take care of his trees that he recently planted. I had to use the toilet so I went to the bathroom and the moment I walked in I wanted to leave if it felt like I was going to find a dead body in there, I was expecting to see a body in the bathtub or a head where the towels go. My uncle was a lawyer, dumonts after we took care of this house he had a client come to his house who was freaking out over something and he ended up murdering my uncle. He was found dead in his bathtub.
Holy Crap!!! That is insane. I'm sorry about your uncle. My step-dad was a lawyer and I know he had a few clients that were off their nut but still never actually went that far. I hope you're OK and getting through it well.
The first story reminded me of my horrible paranormal experience back in 1970. My husband and I had moved into the second story of an old house and was renting the upstairs. I just had our first daughter after moving in. We experienced doors slamming, footsteps and whispers on a daily basis. Even the landlords downstairs were hearing footsteps upstairs and commotion when none of us were home. Apparently the original owner had been found dead upstairs in a rocking chair. However the worst part was our baby daughter passing away at 6 weeks. I found her in her crib one early morning when I was checking on her. I thought she had finally slept thru the night. She had been a very fussy baby at night. She was rushed to the hospital but it was already too late. Our beautiful daughter was gone. The coroner told me he couldn't find anything wrong with her so it was classified as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. A catch all for unknown infant deaths. We moved out of that house altho I don't know if the house was to blame or not js. (A happier note 11 months later I did deliver another beautiful daughter who is now an adult with her own daughter.) ❤
I am sorry for your tragic loss. How awful to experience both all the scary creepiness of that house and the unimaginable loss of your baby at the same time. I hope y'all were able to leave that house soon. Very glad to hear of the happier events that have followed. Bet you spoil your granddaughter rotten!
Story 5 reminds me of my brothers account of a paranormal story I have. When I was a kid I had an imaginary friend who I wasn't afraid of, but he was terrified because he saw it too
This is a Longshot regarding the story about the dancing man with the hat. Did he have a fiddle? I'm asking because I've seen a figure just like the one described when I was very young. At the time when i saw it, I've never shared this story because I knew I'd get teased by my older sisters, but it seemed so real. This story took me back to that moment. He was playing his fiddle but no sound came from his instrument. He was jumping and spinning on rooftops just like a dancer from Broadway, but he made no sound. Like as if he was weightless. Such an eerie recollection just from hearing this story. Apologies if I sound crazy but that story brought back a memory I completely forgot about
Story 6 is Spring Heeled Jack. A phenomenon that infested London back in Jack The Ripper times. Never was an explanation but plenty of newspaper clipping available online
Oh hell yes!! More paranormal stories please!! 🙏🙏 These are my favorite
Same. I’ve scrolled back and listened to almost all of them. The 4-6+ year old ones are just not the same bc he’s grown as a narrator
Exactly, the old stories are good to listen to but he has grown so the contrast in quality between the old and new stories is apparent @Shelabayy
