    So informative!! So far, I have been fortunate with my Classic III; no noisy bearings. It amazes me how the Kirby is constructed. Appreciate all your effort in these videos Dean.

      It’s quite surprising how the grease just vanishes

    haha, I found myself back on here as my G4 suddenly started vibrating and I thought it might be the bearings. Was looking for sound clips to hear if it was that. Anyway, long story short, after running tests, alongside my other very tired G4, changing bags head, that kind of thing, realised that the sound changed quality everytime I moved the cover with the light up or down. It sounded better with the cover up. Turned out to be the light cover is loose! hahahaha Bit of a rubbish design actually, looks like the top of it is just hanging free and only 2 screw in the bottom. It's a wonder how it didn't start rattling before.

    What kind of grease do you use? And How much grease do you put in?

    Good video. I wouldn't try to take that apart. I'd be sitting in the middle of all those parts crying.

      😂, it’s easy once you’ve done one . I did practice on a curb find 1st .
      Not as many parts as G Series so a lot easier .

    I might need to attempt that on my G5, the bearings are getting pretty dry in it to the point it has a bit of a squeak when it turns off. What grease are you using, if you don't mind me asking?

      @KirbyEnthusiast  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      you just reminded me to put link in description , here is the grease link amzn.to/3uRQraY

      The rear bearing on the G Series Kirby units is non greaseable since the seals are metal. Only the front bearing can be repacked. The rear one must be replaced.

      Should be a link in description to the wheel bearing grease I use . Hope this helps 👍👍
