You where using too much adhesive, You should have got the old glue off You should have done one coat then left it atleast an hour. When applying the patch fit the middle first let the air out the tube and roll it middle outwards, then use a hair dryer to warm it, put a board behind it and using a roller or screwdriver handle role it again,
Hi yes I kept the boat for a few years without any further issues before selling it. I know the guy who bought it and as far as I know it is still fine.
@@fantasticfishingshow8185 pvc no need to sand get surface very clean with m.e.k then apply one coat wait an hour then a second let it tack off till nearly dry and warm it up with hairdryer fit patch roll it and leave for s24hrs if possible , hypalon you do sand clean thoroughly prime coat then glue coat .
