Great video hopefully we will never have to do that ourselves. Thank you Wally for fixing the boo boo on our tube, I can’t wait for it to get here. So very great full that’s all that’s wrong with it. It’s a good little use tube. 🙏✌️
What’s up Alfred Tommy live in Boston I can get a trailer with a 10ft west marine hard bottom for 400 but needs reglued one side by transom what you think looks new
Nice job. Good video, simple quick and done. Quick question if I may. I just bought a porta-bote with a rip in the rear bladder,(rear transom). It is more plastic feeling and smooth. But flexible like rubber. The manufacturer said I "might" be able to use a polypropylene tape. Will the Orca glue with some of the pvc inflatable boat material glued over it work do you guys think? Or what would you guys suggest? I am having a bear of a time trying to find a solution online.
I got a hole in my hypalon dinghy at the edge of the rubrail so it is on the seam where the rubrail stops going up the side of the boat and I was wondering if I should patch over the rubrail or if I should take the rubrail off, patch it then put the rubrail back on. If I was to take the rubrail off how would I do so?
Please tell me this paste fabric (gum name please) you are not sealing by hot air machine I'm right and please tell about this paste name please sir???
hi alfred once again i need your advice ,i have a 10ft brig rib f300 i want to put transom wheels on it but the hull inside this rib has just a narrow area to bolt on to ,i am worried the wheels will be to close together ,if i remove the davit hook ups i can make it abit wider ,,just cant handle this ribs weight i am 72 lol.do you suggest a good wheel desighn ......love your show respect your knowledge
Peter you might have to compromise something I don't come across these situations often so I can't really help much. But I do believe that you might have to give up something to get something.so if you have to remove something so that you can install the wheels you want then that what you may have to do. Sometimes there is kayak wheels that people use on dinghies also check those out
Inflate it fully until it's hard them put soapy water over the entire tube. Any areas that leak with bubble up. Also open the valve covers and put soapy water on the valves and see if those are leaking
I still cant understand why people still getting inflatable?? Everywhere i see is puncture, tear, leaks and stuff, please enlighten me, i mean its not cheap, it seem not as durable as regular alumunium, hdpe,or even fiberglass
you'd understand if you owned one. they are literally the safest feeling boat on the water. i've had many arguments with friends, who just don't believe it. i've even had people try to tell me that jon boats are safer. i've been in a jon boat, and it was the LEAST safe feeling boat i have EVER been in. there's a reason that police, coast guard, search and rescue, etc, use inflatables.
Thank you so much for your video you just saved me several thousand pounds and an 8 month wait list.
Nice job, please can i ask what is name of that glue?
Thank You for sharing, have always wondered how those things are done, very interesting.
