Cif costs £1.50 in Wilko, the rib cleaner costs around £18. This video demonstrates how to clean your SIB using a cheap alternative to the RIB Cleaner. I am not saying this is better than a rib cleaner, I am just showing you a quick and easy way to clean your sib!
I left my SIB for the winter and it was in need of a deep clean, I was going to purchase the rib cleaner but a lot of people mentioned the 'Cif' cleaner so I thought i'd give it a go.
If you are looking for a video on 'How to clean your SIB' or 'How to clean your inflatable boat' or 'How to clean your boat', then this is the video for you. I have seen a lot of other videos around inflatable boat fishing or sea fishing but not many people are demonstrating the products they use to clean their boats.
My favourite type of fishing is lure fishing for bass off the inflatable boats (sibs), they are perfect. They are super quick to set up, they are fast, and can go in such shallow water, it's amazing! Inflatable boat fishing is becoming more and more popular as people realise you do not need an expensive boat to reach the marks out at sea. You can buy a setup for around £2000-£3500 and this will do you fine.
I love going beach fishing, shore fishing but nothing beats boat fishing on these inflatable boats. You can find the fish a lot easier, they are fast and most importantly much more fun!

Thanks for the video mate, it was a great help in cleaning my Solent 540 Rib. I used your advice and then bought some stiff brush attachments that went into my drill. The combination of the Cif and the brushes worked a treat and made very light work of a dirty Rib. 🛥

Cif looks very effective. After rinsing and drying, I would treat the boat to a vinyl protectant to replace the washed out oils. Most of what you were scrubbing away seemed to be mildew rather than dirt. Also, the triangular piece at your strboard side on the transom looks torn. These stop splashing into the boat from the outboard's wash. A piece of repair vinyl and good repair glue on the underside would repair that damage in a hidden way. Thanks for the video.

Cleaners designed for PVC will always be a better solution for cleaning and protecting your boat but if you want to save money or could not get hold of any of these then Cif is a great option.

I think so, it is a cream colour see if they do it in another first. I think it will be ok.

Probably was, it was kept outside
