Hey guys great vid! Just a question on unique characters. Are you able to have multiple copies of unique characters; as long as they have different subtitles? Is this a new/house rule? Looking at the quick start rules it just says you cant have multiple copies of unique characters in play. Thanks again!
Thats an excellent question! Not a house rule! In SWU you are limited to only having a single copy in play under your control of a unique card based on the card name + title. You can have multiple unique cards that represent the same persona in play under your control at the same time. If you ever have two or more copies of a unique card in play under your control, you must immediately defeat copies of that unique card until you are left with 1 remaining in play. For example: You can have Leia Organa - Defiant Princess and Leia Organa - Alliance General in play under your control at the same time. But you cannot have two copies of Leia Organa - Defiant Princess in play under your control. If you do you would have to immediately defeat one of them. Hope this helps!
@@Holocron_Gamingalso, as an addition, the "when played" effect of the second copy of Leia will trigger before you will have to get rid of one of thw copies. That means that you could play the second Leia for that effect evwn if you have a first buffed Leia. I clarified that by Danny, the lead designer, personally at Essen😊
Nice game, but several misplays 😅 right Motti shouldn't have died, Krennic should have died after two hits from both Bobas... But still fun to watch! Do you use some cards behind the Unlimited card proxies to make the cards thicker in the sleeves or are you using some sturdy sleeves?😮
Krennic definitely should have died, Im not seeing where Travis' Motti shouldn't have died though? Yeah any other tcg back should work! We print out the cards on printer paper then you can slide in a SW: Destiny card or something else to make it feel real :) We're glad you still enjoyed it! More to come and as we continue to learn mechanics and get used to the system we'll dial in those mistakes :)
Lame game, play the decipher game it’s way better and still made by a non profit organization, the Star Wars players committee. What’s with the cartoon design? Lame

This game is very different than the old decipher game, which I love. I actually printed several competitive decks for Star Wars unlimited since posting and played a few games at home, the game is EXTREMELY FUN and addictive . Is it as good as the old decipher game, to me? Maybe not, but I immediately loved this game as well. The art and design actually grow on me after the first game, I like the art for a lot of the space units.
All good dude! We can totally feel tied to certain games for sure. I'm happy you gave SWU a shot though! Its addicting and although some art pieces look a little goofy, when its all on the table, it all fits in together. Thank you for your comment@@nickfanzo!! 15:50 Krennic still got the +2/+2 from barrage when attacking btw. So it's still 7 dmg to base not 5 :)
Just in the 3th turn you couldn't trade Motti'es. His unit was 2/2 because of +1/+1 form Veers.

We prefer playing live over TTS any day! We want to ramp up for sure and work on a more consistent release schedule. We wont stop creating :)

Lot easier to watch live games compared to online. New to this so I’d second pop ups as well.
