I buyt one of this 1500i. Best psu. Icue is perfect. My 5950x and 7900xtx Workshop now perfect. With my 2year old bequiet 850watt my PC shoot down random.
This is the review I'd like to see, with live feed to the actual product at the beginning and not with a picture like any other view review, thanks for doing it, really helpfull.
@@shaolin95 Yes , I know now. Because two weaks ago I got it 😀 , HX1000i is ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 over all very High quality and high performance , very happy with it . Thanks for the reply 👍 👏👏
@@DigitalDavidThanks for the reply 2023 model are ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 ; I like the corsair aporach of keeping 8pin pcie connector on psu side , it is better and safe .
@@Abstrahues Late reply but he may buy a third party cable because the 4090 has had issues burning the cable. Supposedly its due to user error though. People not inserting the cable all the way into the gpu.
you helped me a lot, I didn't understand why there are 24 pins on the motherboard and only 20 on the psu, today I ordered the psu and I don't want to order what is wrong, thank you very much
Yes, you can connect two cables for your CPU and four cables for your GPU with the Corsair HX1500i 1500w Power Supply PSU. The HX1500i has multiple 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe connectors, which can be used to power high-end graphics cards. When connecting the cables, make sure to refer to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure that you are using the correct cables and connecting them to the appropriate ports. It's also important to make sure that the total power draw of your system does not exceed the capacity of the power supply, to avoid potential damage to your components or the power supply itself. cnl

That's extremely dated, psu are 10 year warranty not 7, and corsairlink is dead, and icue replaced corsair link..that's almost a 10 year old thread, so with more modern varients, what's the difference and what's better? all in all, what would be best overall. hx1500i, or the ax1500i@@DigitalDavid
Efficiency Rating: HX1500i: The "HX" series PSUs from Corsair are typically rated with 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency, which means they are designed to deliver at least 92% efficiency at 50% load. AX1500i: The "AX" series PSUs are Corsair's top-of-the-line models and are typically rated with 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency, which is even higher than Platinum. Titanium PSUs are designed to achieve at least 94% efficiency at 50% load. Digital Control and Monitoring: HX1500i: The HX1500i comes with Corsair's Digital Signal Processor (DSP) for digitally controlled power delivery and voltage regulation. It also supports Corsair's LINK software, which allows users to monitor and control the PSU's performance, fan speed, and more. AX1500i: The AX1500i also features a Digital Signal Processor and Corsair's LINK software for monitoring and control. It's worth noting that the AX series is typically designed with even more advanced digital control capabilities. Cabling and Modularity: ~B

it's more like unboxing, it's kinda obvious the guy doesn't even know what he's talking about there
Is this ATX 3.0 psu ? because i haven't seen 12VHPR soket on this PSU , how about it's smaller brother HX 1000i for 4090 , will that be enough ?
It is not ATX 3.0 psu. -MB

I see the HX1000i has lots of complaints about clicking noise so did you have such noise issues with the HX1500i?
I have not had the clicking noises yet... some of that is so hard to speak on when you hear one thing but experience something completely different!
What is the connector standard? I can't find it
Ryzen 5950x mit 7900XTX und BeQueite 850 hat sich immer wieder aufgehängt. Mit dem Corsair HX1500i keine probleme mehr 🙂
I'm so sorry. I only speak english. Thanks for watching and commenting though!

Hey is the 600w cable necessary? For a 4090. Can I just use the stock cables?
Probably necessary unless you have an adapter for your GPU to use the "stock" cables!
@@DigitalDavid so I can't just use the cables that come with the PSU, I have to buy another one? , why would they not include one with PSU?
@RudolfDriplersEdits the new version has the cable
Do we really need those iCue to be connected?
Can we skip that part (the iCue software) to go auto mode?
I don't see why not!
i might be getting this tomorrow, what can i do with single / multi rail mode ?
is there any reason why i should toggle this ?
Nope! It's really for enthusiasts who are big into overclocking and tweaking their systems!
@@DigitalDavid thank you for the reply mate !
I ended up going with a seasonic TX model instead. Amazing bit of kit!
Very nice psu, I'm thinking of getting a 4090 and i just may buy this beast and the 600w cable for the gpu!
Nice!!!
