    Looks great!
    Just one tip for the Tzaziki (the greek way): Salt the shredded cucumber an let it sit, THEN press all the water out like shown. The texture will be much better! BUT DONT SALT AGAIN BEFORE TASTING THE TZAZIKI
    Enjoy 😊

      Tacos can be made with Masa, corn. It is unrealistic to expect a content creator to make magic out of ingredients that fundamentally don’t work the same.

  • @darrenlee8981
    @darrenlee8981 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Really like the new format. For the sour cream base I like to use a thick unsweetened plant yogurt as it is much thicker. For the pasta sauce I would add your favorite unsweetened plant milk and some nutritional yeast, yum. I would also recommend try getting out of the habit of using oil all the time as heated oil is really not healthy and it is the highest calorie dense food on the planet. Our fats should really come from avocado, nuts, seeds, tofu and plant milks. You can easily sauté with vegetable broth, water or even a good sherry or marsala wine. Nice easy dishes, thank you.

    I have a challenge for you!! You have conquered beef, you have conquered chicken. You have even conquered sausage! But could you replicate the flavors found in… wild game?
    My guess is that I bet you could, and I would love to see it/try it! I haven’t had venison in a very long time, but I loved it a lot when I did have it. I do still eat meat, but I’m trying to move to more vegetarian options more often (partly to try and conquer some food trauma I have), and venison is kind of something you have to like… actually hunt to get, unless you know someone who will give you some. And I don’t wanna do that, but I still want the flavor! Hopefully that’s a neat idea you’d like to try sometime! I don’t think I’ve ever seen it as a vegan option, and you might also be able to maybe expand the idea to other types of not readily commercially available meat flavors. I mean, personally I think you would win the internet if you were the first person to make vegan bear. Just saying :p

    The tacos look nice, but I don't bother with the tofu and just unsweetened soy yoghurt (cheaper than tofu over here). I use that stuff for tzaziki almost daily. I recommend using ground garlic for a stronger flavor. If you're lazy you can just make that plus roasted chickpeas... but most guys won't feel full from just that. Instead of rice I prefer to use other grains like spelt. It gives a more chewy mouthfeel than white rice (and is a bit more healthy/better for diabetics).
    I have to say that coconut yoghurt looks really sketchy though. :P
