@@JohnSmith-dr5zn if you don't feel like watching petscop: here's a tl;dr of each the surrogate mother experiment had one 'mother' with a blanket around it and the other 'mother' was pure metal bars but it had food the test was to see if the monkeys preferred comfort over food the quitter's room is a reference to when a girl with special needs went through a therapy where she was put under a blanket and multiple therapists sat on her for hours on end, causing her to suffocate to death covered in her own vomit the therapists said 'she's a quitter' when she stopped struggling and began to fall unconscious

as cool a concept as this boss is, it really doesn't work in isaac at all. It completely halts your run while you forced on a set path and the constant switching is just annoying after the first few times fighting it
I've encountered this boss a couple of times, and it goes by a lot quicker than this video makes it seem :P (Also your speed is set to 1 during this fight)

...i've got bad news for you Due to how modded bosses work, there sadly isn't a way to do that (that I know of) so you need quite a bit of patience with the emperor cards. Tho I will mention she spawns only on scarred womb, in case it's the reason you didn't encounter her yet.
