Wounded Puppy After Care

- After noticing this street puppy with an open wound on her back we took her to see a vet. She was in pain and was clearly suffering.
We were given mediation to give to her for two weeks and a purple powder to apply directly to the wound to kill any maggots and infection. To make it easy to give her a pill we hid it inside a piece of sausage.
Over the last few weeks her wound has healed very well and her mum has slowly started to trust us. We will soon take her mum to be spayed.
We are currently in the process of trying to find this adorable girl a home. Please get in touch with me if you have any suggestions or contacts. She is a lovely little soul and I'm sure we all want her to have a happy ending by finding a loving owner or family.
Good news today..... A lady came with her own dog and would like to adopt the puppy. She already has a dog and they seemed good together. The sad thing will be to separate her from her mother. What do you all think. is it the right thing to let the puppy have a home???
Hutchie what did u decide? Even though the puppy seems to be happy with mum she is still exposed to danger being on the street. It would be awesome to know that she's being cared for. Since you will be leaving soon. It's a hard call. I think u will have to ask God to help u make the right decision.
@@tiffanyfrazier2193 We are taking her to see the vet again tomorrow to make sure she is healthy. I agree with you and she is definitely exposed to danger. I am going to ask the vet for his opinion also. I'm definitely swaying more towards letting her have a home. ☺️

Today is a good day Chris. A lady wants to adopt the puppy. It will be very sad to separate her from her mum. She has already has a dog so can't take both of them. What do you think?

Omg...I wish she could take them both. They are sooo attached to each other. It's a hard call to make. I love the thought of the puppy possibly having a forever home and getting off the streets but the baby seems very happy with their mum. It would be extremely heartbreaking to see them part. Do u think the lady could be talked into taking both? I really think they should be together.
@@tiffanyfrazier2193 I know it will be heartbreaking to separate them. The lady has just been to my place with her dog to see if the puppy and her dog get along. She doesn't want to take mum due to already having a dog.

It was bitter sweet yesterday when we took her to her new family. Her mum kept looking for her which as you can imagine pulled on my heart strings.

Thanks Sylvia. Thankfully I received a message last night from a local lady who wants to take the puppy. I will speak with her later today. I haven't been able to arrange anything for the others yet.
Thats very hard its great news for the puppy but theres time yet for someone to take the mother
I don't really no if street dogs stay together for ever i think good news for the pup and if the mother gets spayed she will also live a happier life no dogs chasing her and only herself to look after this is good news very kind people 👍👍🐕🐕🐕🐕
Thank you Susan. I appreciate you taking the time to share your opinion with me. We are going back to see the vet tomorrow to check the puppy's health and I will also ask him what he thinks. My instinct tells me that letting the puppy go to a home where it is safe and she can be loved is probably the best option. 😚

Dis u guys get the mother neutered? It will stop more puppies being born in the streets and get injured.

Los gatitos están sanos ahora. Tenían gripe de gato pero los llevamos a ver al veterinario cuatro días seguidos para inyecciones.

I agree with you on that. I couldn't give them a home as I wasn't living here but I found a home for the puppy.
