- In this video, I successfully troubleshoot the prevalent clicking noise in Surron bikes, a common issue represented by the hashtags #surronx, #surron, and #ebike. Initially, I suspected the clicking to originate from the jackshaft bearings, but a thorough inspection ruled that out. The true culprit was identified as the motor, a typical source of this noise in Surron bikes.
My Surron, with around 1600 miles and exposure to wet conditions, exhibited rust accumulation in the motor, contributing to the clicking sound. The resolution is presented, offering valuable insights for Surron enthusiasts dealing with similar challenges.

I just changed my Jack shaft bearings, swing arm bearings, and repacked the roller bearings in the rear shock assembly last week. 6400km. on gravel roads... the Jack shaft bearings were making noise and were dry and ugly. the swing arm bearings had rust on the chain side as it gets more splatter from the chain, also were partly frozen. one of the roller bearings was seized and was polishing the sleeve inside the bearing. seams maintenance was over due... the belt was in great shape to my suprize...
I wonder if the grinding in the motor you describe is actually the cogging of the roter against the permanent magnets? if you spin the wheel you can feel the stop start thing...
Boy, I ever have to do this I am buying the upgraded jackshaft with the grease fitting.
Yo, what seat/bodypanels are those and where can i get em?

@@AdamEspositoYT thank you very much :D sadly it costs ~380$ in shipping alone 😪
@@ccfpv you’re welcome my friend. Ya… I’d suggest scouting some other sellers online if you can. See what the difference is. But my codes good for their whole store 🤙🏻
with this problem did your light flicker or lose power ?
2:20 That was so scary
mine has been doing it since it was brand new though?
To be honest, maybe they just make that noise? I haven’t had mine since brand new. So I can’t compare. I think mines got rust buildup inside a little. Either way imma end up upgrading it too
It stared happening to me after 1,5 years, it's making me crazy. I really considering just selling this Chinese crap, maybe switching to talaria sting.@@AdamEspositoYT
So what was wrong?
I think it’s the motor
@@AdamEspositoYT fairs man I had a similar thing and it was the jackshaft bearings
First lol😊
