I’ll admit, as a kid who sometimes got as hungry as the second sketch, especially in the 2008 crisis when my dad got laid off, there’s a tiiiiiiiiny bit of dark humor in that one for me.
Two of the lesson from my neighborhood PSA's are creepy but in a way fascinating because of the lyrical dissonance, but the hunger one is just depressing.
Not as creepy then unforgiven 1999 then no mercy 1999 when HHH won the champion in a 6 pack challenge then a no DQ match

To be honest I love those kinds of jokes where it doesn't even have a punchline, it's just a sentence, like "What's red and bad for your teeth?" "A brick" or "What did the farmer say when he lost his tractor?" "Where's my tractor?"

I really like this channel and how there’s even warnings, it may seem silly but it helps a lot when trying to avoid certain/sensitive subjects

And I just wanna say to any parents, as always, it took me about 6 hours in total to get a trigger lock off a revolver with only a pocket knife, screw driver, and a pair of cutting pliers. A trigger lock is not enough to keep a gun safe from a child.
Luckily my parents don't own any guns!

#06 made me laugh because I did actually have to break into my own house once. I even had to do so through a window! (Well, actually a window-well which isn't nearly as dangerous but I still basically broke into my own house through my room in the basement)

I think it's more about how nobody wins in that situation and the logic of "well other people might be, so I should too" is such a dangerous spiral you shouldn't be messing around with in the first place (hence why they were all video game characters until they were faced with the consequences. They were all playing the same stupid game and won various awful prizes).
You pack a knife, you're buggered whichever end you find yourself on (and in some cases you end up getting your own knife turned on you).

I'm not typically someone to toss around the "how do you not have more subscribers", so when I say it, I totally mean it. So, how do you not have more subscribers? You let the ads speak for themselves with no jumpscare-type noise between segments. It helps show people that you don't have to add loads of wild editing to get a reaction. Sometimes, just letting people digest the reality of our world is all that's needed. Also, I love how the title cards have all the information and a timer, very clever.

It's just says something about our relative societies. I mean lessons from your neighborhood (USA) talks about kids dodging bullets or parent's overdosing on druge and the one from the UK talks about copyright piracy of media abuse.
We do have knife and gun PSA's too, they're just mostly broadcast in specific areas like cinemas or on posters. Also when we do, we go HARD, (there's a notorious anti-crime PSA from the London council which only aired in cinemas called Sunday Lunch which is horrific. Also the Slab PSA from this compilation).

As an American of Armenian descent, we say no kid should learn a lesson like it, and yet we barely do anything about it. We don't change it, we just let it be. Lawmakers should stop sitting on their asses and do something about it.

Everyone talks about how the "Lessons from my Neighborhood" PSAs are sad and how no kid should be in that situation, and I agree, but I feel like the Duck Dodge and Roll one is good information to have.
They’re all good information. The overdose ones good too if you just live in a neighborhood like that. To help people. Like legit no one should suffer from that.
PSAs don't do much sadly.
What I find strange is that any other kind of analog horror disturbs me to my core. EAS scenarios have caused me to lose countless hours of sleep. I was having night terrors because of anti piracy screens. I once had an anxiety attack when I first got into weirdcore. Even the automated voices on phone calls creep me out.
But somehow, PSAs don't seem to faze me. Really odd.

many air guns or replica guns share crucial parts and dimensions with real firearms, it technically only takes a proper barrel and a firing pin to convert some of the more realistic ones
the only thing hard to make/convert in any gun is to make it not explode or make it fire more than once
