Remember , a lot of people , paid their ticket and came to the stadium to see the match. Dont you think it would be disrespectfull to people who took their evening, paid a ticket , came all the way from wherever they live to the stadium... to play subs and go easy on gibraltar? Thats a fair question and they have actually throughout the competition over multiple games, theyve also tried different tactical formations and player pairings aswell... theres no need to make a whole sale changes to the team since youd probably never play that team in the euros.... and this is france, the amount of talent on the bench is insane, most of the players that were dropped for this game or on the bench have already played for the national tam in the competition or in the last world cup... and if you want to test a 'weaker' player, one game doesn't suit them, you need to test them against multiple levels of opposition...In this game i think the 'fringe' was zaire who came off injured... they paired him with rabiot... they ve tried different combinations of rabiot tchoumeni camavinga and incorporate in fewer games Thuram and Kamara for the CDM or CM roles... they also had thuram as striker in this game, they could have playeed kolo muani or giroud who started in previous games... @@Scottjg98
