For some characters I feel like their reactions to their friends deaths are about as intense as if they found out they they got pickles on their burger when they asked for without. This one was very intense, though. I expected nothing less from Caspar's VA and characterization
I’ve been watching these videos about special interactions and while they are sad none of them have made me nearly cry like this one. Linhardt and Caspar are such great friends, possibly more going on there but who knows. Caspar doesn’t really seem to care or notice if people are romantically interested in him lmao.
I thought that three hopes was a better universe for everyone than three houses, now I'm starting to think there truly is no perfect outcome for this story
@@BardockSkywalker hold off on fighting Caspar until after Count Bergliez spawns in. If you defeat Caspar afterward Bergliez will order him to retreat.
This is heartbreaking it almost made me wel up in my eyes. It makes me not want to separate them but in the same time I don't want linhart dead. He's the best sleepy man I've encountered on this god greed earth.
Damn I got goosebump. I could never bear to kill Linhardt, and their friendship moments during this battle are so amazing to see. I also love how Caspar accepts Linhardt’s betrayal because he’d rather have him defect than die, but also that he fights to get him back. This is heart-breaking, though.
It's delivery like this that made me want to canonize Linhardt's death (I didn't understand what button activated the "Save Linhardt" tactic). But then I realised I'd probably miss out on paralogues, which was a big nono, so I had to go back and save him.
Having played Trails of Cold Steel, not the first time I've been fucking impressed by the amount of heart I've heard Ben Disken put into a line. If you played the series you know the line I'm talking about.
I was going to do this route first but accidentally clicked on my Crimson blaze route and I didn’t read what tactics did and killed the first two recruitable units, I would have been so sad if I did it here
His proficiencies were in axes and gauntlets, but he had a higher weapon rank in axes. If anything, the "optimal" class route for him is War Master, which lets him use axes and gauntlets with equal proficiencies.
Really weird indeed, if I remember correctly he is also supposed to go through axes in this game (The ones with the blue arrow), even having a unique Warrior Special only with infantry axes. Tho if I had to guess, it may be to complement his father. Both Lin and Caspar have two proficiencies each in Three Houses, Faith and Reason and Axes and Brawling respectively. They each have a preferred weapon, while their fathers use the other proficiency, so Lin uses Faith while his father uses Reason (Being a Warlock, even if Reason isn't a thing in this game) and Caspar uses Axes while his father uses Gauntlets.
