Looking at job boards makes you actually wish for a nuclear winter.
Is it possible to add these radiant quests to dlc areas such as Honest hearts and Lonesome road? Like after you've finsihed the main quests there will be job offers like hunt down this guy/gal that fled from somewhere, or to retrieve a thing from the divide because reasons.
It’s possible and pretty simple. I posted a PDF file in the mods downloadable file for a how to on how it’s done.
Now i can finally make a living doing courier things as the courier.

Ive watched more than a few other videos showcasing some great new mods, enhancing and upgrading everything from environment , character skins, dialogue, NPC 's, add on quests, gear, weapons, clothing, etc. Its truly the age of the fan modders. And they truly do great work for New Vegas and Fallout. And are careful enough not to deface, or change the base game that is so loved. God I miss New Vegas. But if I played it again. Would have to be with all the amazing new add ons and mods.
Impressed by the mod quality and how well thought out it is, i am scare because it still radiant quest and it reminded me of another settlement that need my help

Thank you, amazing idea and great work! One of my problems was running out of stuff to do. Modders are the lifeblood of New Vegas.
Modders really are. Never owned my own computer. Just consoles. But Fallout modders create some amazing sh#t for New Vegas alone. Literally breathe life back into the game, not just aesthetic adds ons, weapons, gear clothing and character mods.
Truly inspiring fans with some amazing talent.
And f#ck I miss New Vegas. But if I played it again, would have to be on computer with all the new amazing mods. Modders who are so skilled ,they don't change the base game just literally improve it, update it ,expand it like here.
I checked out a raider mod ages ago. Forget the actual name of the mod , but the TH-cam video on the mod is called " How raiders should've looked in New Vegas"
Showed lore friendly expansion mod with Vipers with their original bone armour, snakeskin and bone armour. Lore friendly bone bow and and poisoned arrows. And Jackals with Jackal furs, and Jackal head gear like Vulpes wears. That mod also provides some fetch and hunt quests if you choose to join either gang btw.
What about "finding"?
"That bastard stole my gun, could you bring it back? Please don't kill him, he was my friend."

@@stealthdick I asked because I don't know if these types of quests are in your mod, I didn't claim it was there. Maybe I expressed myself wrong.
@@zlostnypopolnikyou’re good haha. No, as it stands the quests are simple; A -> B. You have some great ideas though, almost makes me want to create a “Misc” quest type for Civil Disputes.
@@stealthdick The more variations, the better. For example, "find a lost dog" - the dog would be somewhere in a cave or outdoors with other wild dogs, of course you couldn't kill it, but the owner would give you something that he used to play with and if you held it in your hand, the dog would be calmed down and followed you.
I know, stupid quest, but you get the point.
what about escort/guide jobs?
like someone needs to go to some location but don't know how to and need a guide, some can defend themselves or cower.
escort a caravan to go to jacobtown, novac, goodsprings, red rock canyon all settlements that are funcional and friendly, if the courier is vilified to a faction like the khans, the job to red rock won't be available, won't be at slug pace but can't fast travel either.

I always thought radiant quests could be good if done right and this is a great way imo
tbh i love it , because now i have a reason to pick up junk like cofee mugs to turn it in , and its a good way to get your reputation higher and make some change , especially when im playing with a mod that overhauls the economy to make it harder

I always hated this feature in games, because in the games where it present, usually it means that handcrafted content is on par with the generated one. But in NV it might actually work, because sometimes you'd just want to distract yourself from all the well-written quests and do a silly one-time mission to relax.
Even besides that, achieving this from a modder's point of view, is quite a feat, bloody solid job, lad!
Literally reminds me of Skyrim's "The Notice Board" mod. Good Stuff. Nice work. 😌
The very first version of the mod had NPCs as quest givers. I decided to switch over to job boards because adding AI voice lines to every voice type for every quest type would have been time consuming and expensive.
My only input would be to make the boards look more dirtier and worn out with the papers on it looking like their ripped pages from pre war books or whatever regular wastelanders might find to write on.
I would say add this to fallout 4 but then you'd just be taking prestons job

Can you do quests for the brotherhood and do they grant fame? If so would be a neat way to be able to reach idolized with the brotherhood without needing to not nuke anyone at the end of lonesome road.

finally, perfect ways to extend my playthroughs and have exploration be less "oh god ok time to go unlock all the locations over there whilst i walk to a certain quest location" (the radio tower missions come to mind) and more "oh nice the next area im in for the story has a questboard with stuff i can do before moving on"

fallout 4 had redeeming values
better engine so you wont run out of vram that fast, we have yet to find a fix for this
better gunplay, we got knvse and osme other mods to fix this
building, we got real time shelter but its ancient
weapon customization, we got weapon smith trying to do that
and "another settlement needs your help go there to test the new guns you downloaded, and you did that with this mod.

There are settlement 9r base building mods for NV?
Not any thaat are worthwhile, one breaks your game because of how old it is, the others bloat your saves or are just pre-defined player homes.
i tried it long ago but it seemed really broken sadly. Im sorry...
