With everything you've shown she can be a video game protagonist. Mad jealous of pillow mode.
As a guy with long hair, let me tell you pillow mode is the least believable of all of these! It tugs on you if you get it in the wrong spot and if you toss at night your head will be matted in the morning.

I sadly missed the reference to a tin of pop.
Suddenly feeling like "Hair puffs that turn into weapons/attacks" would be a fun aesthetic for abilities in a metroidvania.
Game would probably be called "Bad Hair Day." or something equally cheesy.
Chu Chu's attacks (work in progress):
Chu Chu Punchy Punchy: Chu Chu's standard melee attack. No range, but does a lot of damage. She strong!
Hammer Mode: Stronger attack with some additional range. Moderate cooldown.
Bomb Mode: Decent power, but great range; determined by aim. Short cooldown.
Funnel Mode: Excellent for mid- to long-range targets, and dealing with small groups. Fairly long cooldown.
Cheer Mode: Useful for multi-player mode, boosting an ally NCP/Player's attack and defense power. Recommended if Chu Chu's in a pinch.
Ball-Joint Mode: Chu Chu's surprise super mode. Takes the arms from a defeated powerful sub boss and uses them herself.
Similar to the Super Copy Ability from Kirby's Return to Dreamland.

Gundam Witch from Mercury has been getting lots of attention than most other shows and I'm all for it.
I love the little references to other Gundam shows with the Gundam Hammer from the Original MSG, the Arms of one of the AGE-1's alternate modes with the reference to Jobby, and the Funnels from Char's Counterattack.
You...do know Funnels have been around looong before Char's counter attack, and are featured somewhat in og Gundam but moreso those are the testbeds for them, zeta is when you really get into it and double zeta has plenty of it as well.

So I found out a lil while ago, that the lead writer of GWfM also worked on the manga Revolutionary Girl Utena and so there are loads of parallels and references to it, my favorite being: ChuChu was the name of a little monkey character with big round ears who was friends with Anthy Himemiya, the character who parallels Sulleta.
