I'd like to think the treads are just attachments for their boots, and when a tank doesn't want to use them, they hang them up on their head and just walk around.

My favorite thing about this whole video is the small touches you added with the music for each tank. I remember seeing a video describing how the music changes in this game depending on what tanks are present, and you nailed that small detail very well
One thing I noticed is it also takes her forever to shoot (while blue is behind cover) which is pretty dang accurate to the games. They shoot very slowly when ur hiding, but in the open they spam

This is so adorable, I used to love playing this game back then. And I love how you gave them such diverse designs despite having the limitations that they're, well, Blocky Colored Tanks. I love the touch that the colors have different personalities, and some have tanks for feet, while some have the turrets on their head/hat, as supposed to having a weapon. The body language, the voices and the designs are so absolutely adorable and amazing!

i couldnt find it cute because of the trumpet. hearing it in a level rattles my bones, my hand's sweat nearly short circuiting the wii remote, my heart thumping along with the drums, my breathing becomes voluntary, my eyes peeled open, tearing up from the cold A/C hitting them as i scan every corner of the map, then darting back to my tank. the more this goofy sounding theme plays, the more my arms fold under the pressure, completely paralyzed in front of my abdominals. annyoying itches lay across my body as i try to wait untill i finish the level to satisfy them. even when i lose, even when i won, that trumpet will always remind me of my adventure in this toy like terrain. great vid tho!

I noticed that different instruments were used for each tank. I know that the music in Wii Tanks was incredibly complicated and dependent on which tanks and quantity of each tank was on the battlefield. Nice attention to detail.
The ending is exactly how it felt playing the game: you come up with all these strategies, dodging and weaving through the boss tanks bullets, just for a dinky grey tank to shoot you from where you weren't paying attention. Something I always loved about this game was its soundtrack. It dynamically changes depending on the sort of tanks you're fighting and how many are left. I looked into it once several years ago and apparently the level of effort they went into for the time signatures, tempo changes, etc. in the music was *extensive,* its really great.
