Miorine getting up and literally opening the door of her heart to Suletta, showing her true boro boro self in all her vulnerability and weakness, made my heart skip a beat. A sweet perfect ending to this scene- they both showed such growth and maturity as persons; and such trust, support, and honesty with each other. If not love, what is?

Sulemio reunion has an orchestral version of the OP, Slash. When they finally see each other again, Miorine’s emotions unbarred and Suletta born anew, the piano plays the melody to “Slash your tears away. These two are truly a masterpiece

1:18 This scene symbolize acceptance and vulnerability. Miorine accepted Suletta’s hand to put her trust in her again and this scene show how Suletta is ready to accept Miorine when she is at her lowest point.
That is real love that some of us grownups have yet to learn.

There is the evolution that I had mentioned before, Sulleta became capable of deciding things by herself, of seeing the seriousness of things and not being 100% kind and naive in all situations. Despite being a little cold and rigid, Miorine has shown that she does not know how to deal with the consequences of her actions, while Sulleta, with low self-esteem and shyness, has shown to be much stronger to face the consequences of her actions. It was really cool to see Sulleta encourage Miorine in this ep.
And now that I think about it, Prospera reminds me of Presea Testarossa, mother of Fate Testarossa from the mahou shoujo Nanoha franchise. His daughter Alicia had passed away, and so Presea created a clone of Alicia named Fate to be her puppet and capture the Jewel Seeds in order to reach Al Hazard. The difference is that Prospera was always kind to Sulleta, while Presea tortured Fate.
Suletta already might understand Miorine’s decisions are meant doing what’s best for Suletta.
Fun Fact: Prospera VA was Einhart Suratos in Gears of Destiny, having to learn it from that series makes her to give that role.

They both admitted they made mistakes, and they forgive each other. Suletta told Miorine that meeting her wasn’t a mistake, and it is pretty obvious Miorine feels the same way about Suletta.
Suletta didn't do anything that warranted Miorine to forgive her. To begin with, Mio was the one that pushed Suletta away.
@@1idd0kun For the most part I agree. Miorine has a lot to make up for. However, Suletta seems to realize that she did traumatize Miorine in Episode 12 even though it was done with the best intentions.

Suletta killing people is a sin she committed to the people she killed. If she had to apologize to someone, it would be to those people, not to Miorine.
Besides, Suletta knows she can't change what she did, so she can only move forward. Instead of apologizing, she's choosing to own up to it by doing what she believes she must do.
But again, this has nothing to do with Miorione. Suletta only mentioned it so that Mio would realize that she's not the only one making mistakes. Everyone does.

Anyway, Suletta knows she can’t turn back the past. She needs to move forward, and she is willing to help Miorine do the same. They work better when they are together.

My point is, Suletta didn't apologize to Miorine, because she didn't do anything to Miorine. It was Miorine who admitted it was a mistake to separate Suletta from her mother.
The hand-holding of all hand-holdings
The piano rendition of Slash works really well here. What a wonderful scene and a great flip of the scene from episode 12.

This is good contrast to Suletta’s growth thus far, her friends reached out to her in darkest time, and now she’s doing the same for miorine (not like the other….instance.) with compassion and understanding
I’d love if the show actually fleshes them out as a full on couple, not just tease, still love every interaction between them, next episode is gonna be crazy

In all of the ways that I’d imagine their reunion, I’d never thought that their reunion would be as emotionally broken and beautiful such as this. If this were an Anime Award entry, I’d vote for this moment right down the bat! 😎😢

What's great about these characters' entire arc is they have both had moments of weakness and moments of strength. One isn't a pure emotional wreck while the other is a steadfast rock. Instead they're both people, and people have highs and lows, but neither lasts forever which is comforting if bittersweet.
So beautiful and touching. Both are them are moving forward together. After everything. Then there's the background music which is the theme song. Makes it even more impactful
This scene moved me to tears. This has been such a great character journey for both Suletta and Miorinne, and I look forward to seeing how it ends.

I don't want them to be seperated, or hurt. Suletta and Mio are such sweethearts and seeing them win will be what we all want to see!
Seeing Miorine, who's usually calm and collected, vulnerable and being supported by Suletta was a nice change and a great moment for the two. And some people are babbling about how there's no chemistry between them. 🤷

@@o.h.x-9062 Gundam actually has a pretty good track record with main characters not dying. IBO was the sole exception (minus the retcon of the UC timeline), and I don't think Sunrise wants to do _that_ again (given the Gunpla sales figures from IBO being... not the best, to say the least).
Suletta and Miorine are both main characters (with Miorine pretty obviously being the love interest). I think they'll make it out of this alive (and likely kiss), as with most other Gundam timelines.
The real people with the death flags are El5n, Martin, and Nika.
@@nullifiedrisks You know what's also an exception? Gundam SEED, where Kira's first/only love interest, Flay, died in the final episode. Therefore, it's no longer possible that a main character or a love interest are safe from deaths. And yes, that includes Suletta and Miorine, they're not safe either.
Suletta is out there fighting her sorry excuse for a sister and her sorry excuse for a mother to the death, and it's possible that Suletta will meet the same fate as Mikazuki from IBO. As for Miorine? Either Lauda kills her or Lady Prospera kills her.
Face it, kid, promises don't always come true, not even a promise between Suletta and Miorine. They cannot go to Earth together because death is inevitable.

I can't find it now but I read something about how the way they hold hands is actually really important too, because it's a reference to an old painting or something and a way of holding hands that held significance in the past. Also it's just so beautiful.

Nah, there's no such thing as a happy ending, in any Gundam series. They won't stay together for long, they both have their death flags, and death is inevitable to either of them.

There have only been two dead main characters in Gundam and one of those was a retcon, you absolutely trust Gundam series when it comes to letting main characters survive and end up with their love interests, something that's also only not happened twice.

Suletta killed someone to save Miorine who was about to be killed by them while under the effects her mother's brainwashing. Not only did Suletta have zero control over that situation, she still did something that is 100% justified.
