Hey, how to decide on piston size if I have force acting on the piston, velocity and stroke of the piston to achieve a max feasible pressure with the given values?
sir can guide me for design a foam punching machine....operate by hydraulic.... i need information about at what force(bar) it may work, what type of hydraulic pump shoud be used
Does anyone have the force vs displacement graph of a simple manual hydraulic jack ? I mean how the force changes when we use and press on the lever of a hydraulic jack ! I want to know the complete scenario : before pressing the lever , while pressing the lever and raising the object , after raising the object! I want to know how the force and pressure of fluid changes during the whole process!
hello i have a problem about this stuff ... a cylinder thats 2 inches x 6 inches at 1000 psi reads - P x V / atm .. to find the volume of compresed air.. which is 1000psi x 18.85 Cu (volume ) / 14.7 (atmosphere ) =1281Cu .. excellent ... but now change the 1000 psi to 10 psi - 10 x 18.85 / 14.7 = 12.823 Cu ?? how can there be less air in the cyclinder (12.823 Cu) under 10 psi than the cylinders inital volume of 18.85 Cu ?

How to calculate piston rod diameter?
Muy buen video 😃

Good explanation

Hi Frank. I am unsure where you are taking your values from. Could it be because your value of 10 psi is below 1 atmosphere of pressure, at 14.7 psi?
Brilliant Great effort 👌👏👏👏
