- In DIECI BOOM LIFT Cylinder rebuild Part 1, we saw Maddy stripping a cylinder to measure the seals and bearing so she can order the new ones.
In this episode we follow Maddy while she re-seals and re-builds the cylinder and then tests it for oil leaks at the end.

It is effectively an extra second small cylinder . It adds to the overall thrust but really comes in its own when you want fast forward / retraction because it can be used to retract the large cylinder such that it moves the oil in the large cylinder with out using the main pump on the big cylinder, this is much quicker than having the system pump directly moving the large cylinder. It also means the system hydraulic pressure stays high for other services when the big cylinder is retracting.
