    Watching your video with headphones and I think your dog barked in the video, so I quickly paused and went to investigate who was at my front door only to find no one there. I asked my dog who was there and he cocked his head looking at me like I was crazy - could see in his eyes he was thinking, "The old boy is losing it!".

      Thanks. I did the interior last summer. Still not quite finished, have to do the back seat and headliner still.

    Get some old trim rings that fit your wheels & screw the moon discs to them & just pop them on like regular hub caps. Quick & easy & no holes in your rims to leak.

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they would sit too proud on the wheel then. And honestly, at that point might as well just put snap on moon discs on.

    Hi Lee , great video . Glad things worked out gooder than good . Nice to see the Tudor again and the close up of the Moon lettering on the disc . Some things you never get tired of seeing . Thinking of salt flats racing and all the decades that name has and will be there . Saw the new Canadian Hot Rods magazine ... just ta let ya know !

    This is why i like old cars. Some simple problems that needs some simple maintenance. No computer crap, a wiring jungle or weird sensor problems with these.

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve never really had a modern car with a computer. Although I will admit some of the newer aftermarket computers kind of intrigue me.

      @@LGKustoms Well, i have 2010 Ford Focus and yes it is lame as hell. But its not very thirsty, around 46 mpg. So far i have had only some map sensor BS. I guess it could be a lot worse with newer cars. It would be cool to ride a classic car as a daily driver, but besides gasoline prices in here, the second reason for that are the salted roads at wintertime. Who really cares if your modernish daily driver turns to crap because of road salt, but its a different story with the classic cars.

    Now Lee since your getting the "Orange Peel" 32 sedan close to being finished dose that mean the 47 is going to be the giveaway car for some lucky subscriber ??? LOL
    Thanks for another good video 👍

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I dunno about giveaway… but I’d trade for a pile of cash! Hahahaha
      I’m not sure what the plan will be with the 47. I’d like to sell it to try and recoupe some funds for the 32. But I’m still excited to continue building the 47 and would like to at least take it to the vision I’ve always had in my head for it.

  • @donhoughton271

    Lee, what size are you wheel disks? I have been looking to buy some but they are the newer type and don't know if they will stay on or not .Are they measured on the out side of the rim or on the inside?

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure what the diameter actually is. You usually buy them to fit your rim, like a regular hubcap. These are 15” rims and the moon discs are screw on style not snap on.

  • @dennishedrick5108

    I fail to see the logic in drilling a hole in the rim rather than weld a small tab to screw the caps to just doesn't make sence

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  ปีที่แล้ว

      The holes in the cap (which have always been there as long as I’ve owned them) line up with the lip of the rim.
      I’ve had them on many cars, and this is the only time I’ve had an issue, and I think it’s cause I nicked the tire bead drilling the hole.
