In this video I install a wiper motor and chop the arm to fit my chopped 32 Ford To support this channel please checkout www.lgspeedkus... Thanks for watching
Your right this guy has uphill battle he's Canadian and he's specializing in his field nice to see cars in his garage Lee's a no nonsense guy just does what to be done as he has real customers he's not set up like a hollywood studio
Classic...easy project turns into an all-day affair! Wiper turned out great and will make the man happy! Frankly, whatever you work on I will watch! Go LGKustoms, keep moving forward!
Once again you have shown the difference in a mechanic and a parts changer.. Great job trouble shooting!! Oh, amazing what some food will do for the energy level. LOL Film some of the trailer... Its "different".
Lee definitely want to see the trailer rebuilt/customizing and good luck with the wife that might be a little harder great video today love the never say die attitude Mike
You're right in line with my build so appreciate the wiring videos. I sold my 24' Hallmark after many years of use😊. I know what you mean about rot. Mine had an alignment issue and would blow tires almost every trip, even empty. Hope yours is all good.
Crazy! My old trailer was also a hallmark, and other than salt rot underneath from years of being on the salt flats at Bonneville, it was actually water tight and never leaked.
Great video, I worked in the trailer repair industry in Ohio for 49 years, if you go to a trailer repair shop they can sell you a door blank and door seal so you can build a new door. We replaced thousands of doors over the years . Good luck check all the hardware a make sure the hinges are not bent or the door won’t seal.
Gday I have been watching your 32 build from the pick up at Karl’s, great job i have enjoyed the build so far imensly, I am from Melbourne in oz, we have to have our cars engineered and then we can put on the road. So you guys are lucky our system is very strict
Thats a nice tech video of the windshield wiper modification, i am sure it will be a really useful for those guys who are doing the same thing. I dont mind seeing some trailer videos
Since I didn’t see the first trailer build, I would be on board with this one.jmho. Just my opinion ,but the idea of caravaning around North America doesn’t float my boat.😊
I did the first trailer build before I started making TH-cam videos. But the trailer is seen in the 2022 Summer Road Trip playlist when we travelled to HotRod-A-Rama and Bonneville Speedweek and again when we went to the Langley Loafers Old Time Drags last summer. Thanks for letting me know you don’t want to come. I won’t have to worry about picking you up now! 😆
A little "giggery - pokery" works every time! Well most of the time - um - well - worth a shot ; ] The more I see it - the black really looks good on this sexy beast! She's going to tune heads for sure - if not cause fainting! Great engineering - great video! In case you didn't know - I'm loving this build series! Trailer? Yes!
Wiper episode was entertaining. Trailer build? Yes..(btw was that Jim Isherwood’s trailer?)..if you close the shop will you U Tube your adventures from the road?
I’m at this very stage on my 32 roadster. The windshield frame has been chopped leaving room for a 6” wiper. I have been thinking of a hand operated wiper as I don’t want a wiper motor visible. Thanks for helping me with some items to think about.
I need to slow my project down, right after I figure out how to something you put out a video. Just finishing up the wiring on my 29 REO you put out the wiring videos, just figured out the windshield wiper the same as yours I got the kit from speedway you put out a video on it 😂. Any good ideas on side exhaust mufflers that look good but quiet it down. It has headers off a 454 then down to the side, just need to make it drivable and not go deaf until I have the money to do an exhaust system.
Hi Lee yes I am in for the trailer build!!! I have a question for you, Has to do with the bearings on the front axle of the rail. Are they taper bearing? I am doing a model A front axle with Harley front wire wheels. I will machine what rings I need currently the Harley wheels have annular bearing.. Thanks in advance for what ever you can share. Steven
No no. I don't think so. 1932 ? Needs a wiper. Not necessarily a motor. I have a manual wiper in my 29. Having said that, nice to watch and see you mount it. I have a motor but never use it. Where in Canada ?
It came with a wiper from the factory, so to pass inspection it needs a working wiper. Yes a hand wiper would have worked. But I live in a rainforest and it can get very rainy during the winter months, so why not put a wiper motor on. It was only $40 and pretty much bolted right in.
Yes it is a Beaumont. We’re doing an automatic to 5 speed conversion, blasted and painted the frame, rebuilt and powder coated the suspension and a disc brake conversion.
Is Jim going on the road with you. If not wouldn’t he want to rent the shop? At the firm in at they build body’s on chassis cabs. Now you have thrown up the solution to my problem. A trailer big enough to live in and get my roadster and two bikes init. I think you could make a bit more room at the front with a glass section. Like on your trains. If that makes any sense!
That's the dream lee if I won the lottery I'd buy a beautiful motorhome and hit every event going n.h.r.a , nascar, no prep events car shows no land taxes to pay no property to maintain just your motorhome with your trailer with your toys in it like a mini garage I'd see every n.h.r.a national event sprinkling in Nascar events and car shows do the big shows pebble beach, etc etc
Dude!!! What every you do, someone will learn something!!! Being a nomad would be different!!?? Some reason girls need running water and a toilet!!! Lol!!!
Yes, sir and that wiper arm modification looks right at home. Chopped top and windshield requires a chopped wiper arm to match, and it looks factory and performs better than the other modification.🥸👍👍👍👍👍
Yes to the trailer build.
Yes to being Hot Rod nomads.
...what Andy said...
Trailer build yes closing your shop no. I’m a Canadian and there’s not enough Canadian channels. I really like your’s. I’m with Shannon
Well I’d still be doing car stuff haha. It would just be on the road

Tell you what I'm waiting for, Lee; the day you paint that grille shell!
That might be a while. So keep watching haha
Hi I used the inner cable from a Speedo cable to find a path through tight places, works well. Keep the videos coming
Great tip! I have way more welding rod than speedo cables though haha
Trailer build - yeah!

It’s a big YES to a trailer build thanks Lee 👍
Another great video. Loving the wiring series.
Glad you enjoyed it

Let’s do a trailer refurb!
Nice fix Lee 👍
Thanks 👍
It started long before the bare frame with the trip home from the seller!
Trailer build - OK to work portions along with normal content.
Trailer yes, do not shut down the shop!
Haha I won’t be closing the shop for a few decades. I still have a hefty mortgage payment to make every month
You said it, "Wow, Perfect, Amazing, Stocked!"
Since I didn’t see the first trailer build, I would be on board with this one.jmho. Just my opinion ,but the idea of caravaning around North America doesn’t float my boat.😊

I bought the trailer from Ryan Isherwood. And I’m not closing the shop anytime soon haha. Unfortunately I still have to work for a living
pretty crafty
Prefer the shop. So cool.
Trailerbuild yes
Awesome video Lee
Thanks Zach
Enjoyed this vid. Thanks. I'll watch for more.

I’d probably use a hand wiper too on a roadster. Wiper motors can look pretty weird on top of a roadster windshield frame

Haha I’ll be doing exhaust videos on my 32 soon. Probably sometime in August…
yup, do it
Yes
Yes to the trailer build? Or yes you’re also stoked about the wiper working?
Yeah, here in Australia 2 speed wipers are the minimum requirement
They’re not as harsh here. Just has to comply to 1932 regulations.
@@LGKustoms that makes it easy

Sorry, I have no idea what the bearings look like on Terry and Kevin’s dragster. I just built the chassis.
@@LGKustoms Thanks Lee I am building a Dragula copy.

The word has just come to me panoramic view. Now I no I’m getting old.🤓
Any Bonneville plans this year?
Not going to make it this year.
You got rid of the orange
What was stuck in the wiper motor?
Not sure. I just pried on the armature with a screwdriver and it started turning again.
@@LGKustoms Maybe one of the brushes was stuck to the commentator.

Sounds like a great retirement plan
Link to the wiper kit?
I bought it off marketplace
YEAH, WHY NOT A TRAILER BUILD.
Shorten both
