G0602 Lathe Spindle Replacement/ Headstock teardown Part 1

Part 1 After making an attempt to tool post grind the original spindle to fix it, I moved on to taking the old spindle out and install in with the new spindle replacement and Bearings.

Posting this on the first and last of the 6 part series. FYI for other viewers: In spite of the constantly moving camera this series does provide some insight for anyone needing to replace the spindle, bearings or both on this and similar lathes.

FGS get a camera tripod - I gave up after 8 mins.

Moin , Dein Video finde ich gut, aber deine Kamera bitte unbedingt auf einen Ständer , die Kamera wandert ständig hin und her, mir tun die Augen weh. Bitte nächstes Mal mit einem Kamera Halter. Ansonsten weiter so. Mit freundlichen. Gruß aus Lübeck Horst
