I used a rubber inner tube under my chip tray at the bolt holes. the only thing flood coolant is used for in my shop is when I need to machine a lot of metal off two different parts that need to fit together with a extremely close tolerance that needs to be a sliding fit. the coolant's job is not so much for cutting as it is for keeping the part from enlarging from the heat. the same thing can be done by machining to near complete and allowing the part to cool down before you machine the rest. that works fine for "one of" items that you can take extra time on but production work of many parts held to a specific size at a specific tolerance it becomes an issue to have to stop and wait for the part and the chuck to cool off. your not gonna be doing production work one part after another after another so you more likely will never use flood coolant. I'm jelly of that nice new lathe! I may venture over to Grizzly and see what them prices look like. drool a little and day dream. as for monetization you cant use music on videos that has copy right you can use music that has a royalty free license. if you google search youtube royalty free music for free. you will fine a lot of free downloadable music that can be used with your videos. that's where everyone gets their music at. monetization is when youtube pays you for uploading videos a percentage of money generated from advertising fees. you must link a bank account to the google AdSense in order to make sure you get paid. they will deposit a check into your bank account each time it reaches the minimum amount of $100.00 you need to do it as soon as you can. the more monetized videos you have the more google search engines will favor your videos and the bigger your channel will grow.

I wouldn't even bother with coolant until you find yourself wishing you need it more than not. Don't be bothered what others do/don't do on youtube. I watch videos to learn and very rarely comment unless I have a specific question which I know is a crap shoot if it'll be answered. Go luck on the ninth. Hope you're back in the shop soon man.

Glad it's working out good. Not unusual to find odd things that are best tweaked. Apply some Si sealant fillet to chip pan or yes, gasket seal - should do the job. Now, tweaks, and practice! Good luck for the 9th.
BTW, some of the 'big boys' have a problem keeping up with all their subs and comments so... time can be a problem as they get bigger and they can't always get back to everyone. Many do in fact try to help other folks when they can.

I bought the G0720 Heavy Bench mill when they moved out of PA. $3000.00+ mill, in 9/15, used maybe eight hours in that time frame, milled aluminum only. I now get a ERR message when I try to run the drill motor...they now want almost $400.00 for a new controlo board that must install. NO more Grizzly for me.

TH-cam has music you can use for free. It's located in the creator studio portion. You can also use "royalty free" music if you put the authors name in the description. I now it's super confusing. took me a while to figure it out.

You need to put Styrofoam or something like that in the hole between your ways to block crud from going into your gear rive area..
