That tool box is amazing it came out really good, when you said you were making it for your brother I was hoping you were gonna say you were making it for one of your subscribers in America lol ,j/k . The little finished touch with the tape holder on the side was a nice touch. I hope your brother likes and appreciated it. As usual great job Phil, you definitely gotta start selling some of what you make. Can’t wait for the next video
Thanks Chris👍 I made this as a one off and I don't think I will be making another one any time soon as it took me ages! 😆 If I did send something to America it would be a lighter item than this as it weighs a ton! 😆
Nice one Phill 👌
Nice one Karl👍👍
Good job
Cheers👍👍
Thanks for making this video! 👍
A couple changes I would make, just to make the job easier. 1) Keep the end boards clamped after sanding to drill the handle holes. 2) Don’t cut the broom handle to length, but a little longer. When you assemble, let it stick out on one end and saw it flush when the wood is dry.
Anyway, those are minor suggestions. All I have at the moment is mdf, and your video came up first! When I get some better scrap material, this tool box will go under the sink and contain cleaning supplies/brushes, etc.
The tape measure clip is a great addition . . . I mean, really fucking great. I’ve got three tape measure, and at this moment I know where one is for sure, I think the second is in my backpack/manpurse, and I haven’t seen the third one in months. 😭
Thanks for the suggestions 👍 I kind of made it as I went along. I can never find a tape measure I've got loads they just disappear 😕 good luck with making yours 👍
Amazing Phil. It is well explained.Best wishes.
You could have put one more clip for another measuring tape as we always forget where the other one was left!
A super nice project.
Thanks! Yea that's a good idea 👍🏻
Haha, this tool box reminds me of my dad's... which he also built himself!
Yea it's an old school design 😁
Great project phill! Nice clean look.
Thanks 👍👍
Great project Phil , like the previous comment also took me back to better times ,
Thanks Angus👍 a bit of nostalgia 🙂
Good video once again my man :D
Thanks Michael 👍
Another excellent project, Phill!
Thanks Rob!👍👍👍
I like the small router you used. Was it another Aldi/Lidl special buy?
I missed Lidl's £30 router but seen some for £20 on Amazon. Are they too cheap do you think?
@@robertgarner11 The Router is from Aldi It cost around £35
@@robertgarner11 I'm liking this one from Aldi made by Ferrex although I would be cautious about cheaper models just for safety reasons more than anything else.
