Love my Volvo XC90, best car we have ever owned! Great for hauling around babies, strollers, dogs, city driving, long trips, even easy to parallel park!
The Volvo XC90 won the pylon test and the braking test because the Mercedes ML weighs 1,000 lbs more, and the Touareg weighs 300 lbs more. Good job Volvo.

Sorry Volvo has an underpowered engine. Poor pulling power too. Touareg pulls 3500kg, Volvo 2250kg. Winner Touareg.

Within any given product category, there is no such thing as one brand/model being the "best" or even better than another. A so-called "perfect car" does not exist. Value and how it's derived is a relative thing. People are different and so are their needs and desires. Certain features and designs will always appeal to some but not others.
If you're lucky enough to know what you want and why, consider yourself lucky - you're in the minority.
FACT: In this price bracket, most people's purchase decisions are influenced by the opinions/approval of others over everything else. Prestige - like a drug - is arguably the most powerful motivator for dropping six-figures for any non-commercial form of transportation.
All that said however, if taking into account every single attribute people look for when considering a new vehicle (performance, comfort, style, safety, innovative design, cost of ownership, individuality etc.) Volvo is undeniably the new King.
the xc90 is the noisiest car, the road noise is really intrusive, not a good car to drive with this amount of noise.
I tested it out one on road, The truck was so quiet and doesnt make noises aloud! One of the best SUV's in the market for that price on the premium segment.

Interesting review, but I did not like it for the simple reason that you had the new redesigned Volvo XC90 Vs The Touareg and the Mercedes ML which the redesigned models will be out in early 2016. This is not a fair competition in my view. You gave the Volvo around 90% of your time and not much to the other cars and that is unfair. My suggestion is to redo this comparison in a few months when all the new models are out and then we can get a fair evaluation, specially if you use the top of the line model with all the options like you did with the Volvo.
There is one more hoax to this reviev. He took top version of xc90 and looked like basic version of Touareg. Price difference approx 30k usd.
