Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate it. I've looked at quite a few videos and it doesn't appear that any of these fireplace instructions suggest a height. The heights are all over, I guess it's just up to the individual and they can determine what they like. Thanks.
I just bought and installed the same 60” fireplace. (Prime Day FTW.) I knew what I was getting as far as the lights go, but the heat absolutely blew me away. The fan is very powerful considering how quiet it is. The heat has a high and low setting (750w and 1500w respectively).
Yes
its amazing for the price
Love this fireplace. The heat comes out of the front so its easy to have it recessed into the wall/fireplace. Love all of the color options and it heats our living room pretty fast.
Do you need to build out the wall first, or can you cut out the existing wall to install the fireplace? Thanks
You can cut out existing portion also
Just make sure it's not a load bearing wall
Just bought this fireplace for my basement. Cant wait to get the fireplace wall built and get it into place. Thanks for the tips on the back boards, that will really help on install.
Thanks for watching 🙂 please make sure to subscribe
How much did installation cost
I bought this and am having a heck of time getting the cord to reconnect to the glass. What is the function of this cord?
It operates the touch screen bottons on the bottom of the screen .
How far from the floor did you mount the fireplace? I don't know if there is a standard height or not.
Nothing was mentioned in the package
I think it's around 10 inch if Im not mistaken
It was done long time ago
Can this fireplace safely installed in built-in cabinets? we would like to install fireplace under built-in cabinet? any danger of getting fire?
Everything is explained in the manual as far the safety and how far away from wood and stuff this can be installed
Can this be installed in a normal 4” stud wall without framing out or furring the wall?
Yes it can be installed for sure.
You just have to make sure that it's not a load bearing wall if you cut your stud in a load bearing while you're going to have a structural issues in the house.
hope this finds you ... I want to know are you suppose to mount it on the wall do I have to buy a separate mount for it? and secondly what kind of shelf is that and where did you get it from ?
The fireplace already comes with a bracket if you want to mount it over the surface of the wall.
I just wanted to make it built in that's the reason why I installed it this way.
As far as the shelf, if you're talking about the mantle above the fireplace, I have another video for it and here's the link:
th-cam.com/video/QHi7uYg-hqg/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for this demo...
Where does the heat emminate from, the top, front, or bottom, and does it need a specific amount of clearance behind ro prevent overheating of the unit?
Thanks for watching 🙂
The heat element is in the inside the unit and the heat comes out from the front top part of the fire place only.
there is a grill in the front and all the heat is coming from that grill, this unit can be installed flush to the drywall or wood or any other type of stone or tiled wall, you just need to leave about 6 to 8 inches of space on the top of the unit between the mantel or any object setting above it, let's say u want to install a mantel like what I did in myireplacee wall video.
When the heat comes out from the front top of the fireplace, you want to have a distance between the wooden mantel or let's say the TV above the fireplace so it doesn't melt or catch on fire.
I hope this answered your question, if you have any more concerns please don't hesitate to comment, all the best and thanks for watching again 🙂.
Can you turn off the heat and still have the LED light ?
Yes
100 percent
Hi thanks so much for showing this 👌 we have just bought one for our new house ,we we are moving into mid March , we are UK based do you know if we used a Smart plug ,would the fire light up on the Alexa command ,or do you still have to use the remote to switch on ,not using the heater 🤞
youre most welcome
that, i dont know! sorry
I highly recommand you to make sure that your smart plug can handle 1500watts of power. because you dont want to take the risk of having fire behind the fireplace , specially when its installed built in like what i should you in the video.
@@renovationschool8818 Thanks so much 👌iv'e found a device called a Broadlink smart home hub that can copy the remote and convert it to an Alexa command ,so much safer 👍
Im glad
thats awsome
all the best.
the vedio was really helpful.thanku so much for the minute information ❤
Thanks for watching 🙏
Can you run the fireplace without actually using the heat?
Yes
100 percent you can
Are you able to remove front glass after installation?
Yes
There's a tiny screw for it and I didn't put it in place . So all u need to do is to lift it up and pull it out. The glass comes off that easy.
What is the link for building out the recessed structure please?
Please subscribe to my channel you can watch all my videos , but here is the link to that wall: th-cam.com/video/W8-nV-154lU/w-d-xo.html
How do I uninstall the glass? I need to replace the motherboard and I can’t get it off.
There's a small screw on the area where it looks like a Handel . Your hand goes in it . Remove that screw and then lift the glass up
Look how I drop it in place at the end of the video. Do the reverse
Is that electric? No need vent pipe?
Yes , it's electric and no vent is needed
Where does the power cord come out of, the back or the side?
Back right corner
do you need a vent on the side of wall or anywhere on wall for it to breathe in back?
No. you dont
Why is the tv hung almost to the ceiling?
I dont want it built in as I am on rent I have stands with it will it be OK?
Yes
There is a bracket, you can screw that on the wall and the fireplace will set on it.
@@renovationschool8818 no I mean can we stand it standing on drawer ?
It's not very safe
The glass is sticking out about 2 inch from all sides . I mean the body of the fireplace is smaller than the glass so there is no way to stand it. It only can mount on the wall
@@renovationschool8818 mine is about 40 inches and has leg standing with it
@@renovationschool8818 with freestanding leg I mean
We bought this fireplace. An electrician said we could not use our outlet due to wattage. We have nothing else in the room other than a lamp or two. Our house was built 1995.
Do u have aluminum wires in the house?
I realize this is an old comment but... A standard 15 amp breaker is just barely enough to run 1500Watts. 15A x 110V = 1,650 Watts MAX.
I'm not getting heat seating in my couche
What is the depth of this ? How do you have deep back beyond the 2x4 is only 3.5" plus 0.5" drywall
We wanted to build it out so we can hide a pipe behind it. A pipe to feed the sound bar wire from the back of TV or from the room behind the tv to the top of the mantel
The depth of the fire place is only 4 inch
Another this is u also need a bit of room in the back for the plug of the fireplace.
Hi! Helpful video! Just bought this same unit and had my contractor build out the framing. The instruction booklet seems to indicate needing to use the mounting bracket to hang the fireplace on, but your video shows that you didn't use the mounting bracket and instead opted to secure the fireplace to the wall with screws on left and right. I didn't see that option in the manual. Would you agree the mounting bracket is not necessary to install?
@@roshanvm yes sir
The bracket is needed if u want to hang it onto the wall like a tv (if it's not built in ) the whole point of the bracket is to keep it in place, if it's installed sticking out of the wall .I made it built in as a result the opening is the exact same size as the body of the fireplace so I had to use screws because I could not lift it up in that opening and put in on the bracket. fireplace is working as it should and it's been operating perfect since it was installed.
The touch screen options doesn’t come out on mine and my remote doesn’t work .
Is it pouged in?
How did you take the glass off
There's a screw that has to come off
Why does it go off once it reaches temperature, how do I keeo the heat constant
Maybe it's a faulty unit. It doesn't happen to mine
How do u take glass off to put in stones
There's a screw on one of the grills , u take that off and then you push the glass up and pull it out
Watch the end of the video where I put the glass on , it's the reverse of what I do
At the end I did not put the last screw on , if u did put on the screw u can remove it and the remove the glass.
Is there enough room to add logs?
Depending on the logs!!
Thanks man!!! Only thing i dnt like is the tv over the paneling 😢
no info on removing glass :(
What size is your tv?
55 inch
Thank you! Was wondering how this would look. Also do you know the length of you mantle?
@rodanemiller7537 you're welcome
I actually have a fewull video showing how to make that mantel
Here is the link

I got mines to randomly change colors automatically but don’t remember how I made that happened I know you can set it to automatically change on its own any one knows?
You need to play with the remote till you figure it out. Maybe the button for changing color on ur remote is stock.
Please help mine wont turn on at all. It was on a while ago and then it just shut off.
Go to your elctrical pannel and check the breaker
maybe you over loaded the circet and the breaker is poped
turn the breaker back on and you be good to go again
How long is the cord
I honestly don't remember , if I'm not mistaken it's like 3 to 4 feet
Per national electrical code you absolutely cannot have an unaccesible electrical receptacle. Once the fireplace is installed the outlet is unaccesible. There needs to be an access panel or it needs to be hard wired.
Nobody cares what you say our think
@@NickBoyer-hz9ku learn English, thanks.
Inspectors have given me a hard time over these novelty electric fireplaces, this type of installation is fine in your personal property, yet hard wired is always preferred.
Interesting comment about Napoleon. The board on my 60" failed and they don't have the part available. So now I have to replace it. A couple questions, the video shows some angled metal fasteners to attach the glass to the fireplace, yet the installation manual on the RW site shows a couple screws that have to be installed from the side, that hold the glass front in place. Then the fireplace and glass are installed together. The second question is what are the glass dimensions? Help is appreciated.
Thanks for watching.
I gotta be honest I installed this long time ago. I really don't remember about the brackets and stuff. You can watch the video again and see how mine was installed.
This was installed at a client house so I can't go back and measure the glass. Sorry.
You’re awesome. Thank you
Thanks for watching 🙂
Do you have a cultist?
Im a free man if you know what I mean
@@renovationschool8818 I think they mean cut list lol
@@snipderdon 🤣🤣🤣🤣 my god , look at where my brain was. if thats what he means then no unfortunately. i did this a while ago.

Very helpful... thank you
Thanka for watching.
Great video
Thanks for watching
You skipped removing the glads
What is the glade?
Yeah, this is definitely a lower budget led fireplace. Looks nowhere as good as Touchstone or the other better brands. I’m definitely spending the extra money on Touchstone for a realistic looking flame and better quality
Great, 👍 all the best.
If it's not a bedroom, then the TV is little high
