@@axcreates_official I work 50 to 60 hour weeks so I am very limited to work on my hobby. I also wish I knew how to use a torch since my plasma cutter only cuts and sometimes I need to bend metal. I have some scrap metal and was going to make a fire pit. Its been super hot here in south Texas and we should be around 108F today and the next few days. Well it looked awesome.

Where do u get a stubby piece of pipe like that

    • @axcreates_official

Check Metal Recycling yards, local Fabrication shops. They throw away lots of scrap metal, including pipe. You can also check platforms like OfferUp and Craigslist. Hope this helps.

Spray it with a good degreaser, hit it with a wire brush, then give it good wash with dish detergent/soap. Spray it with canola oil or whatever you prefer and cook it for about 40 minutes or so. You can do this on the grill itself or in the oven. Thats how I clean mine. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching.

Fabulous project ! As a complete beginner, it'd be good to understand the type of welder you've used?

Thank you for watching. The process is GMAW, commonly know as Mig. I’m using a solid wire electrode with a
75%Argon -25%Carbon Dioxide gas mixture. With this same process, you can use a flux-cored wire that is self shielding and doesn’t require the gas mixture.

Usé mucho carbón porque era la primera vez que lo usaba y había cubierto la parrilla con aceite de canola para curar y sazonarla. Gracias a ti por tu apoyo. Saludos
