How to create a Spacecraft BBQ Grill/Fire Pit from the Dark Side!!!

- I BUILT THIS SPACECRAFT BBQ GRILL/FIRE PIT MOSTLY OUT OF SCRAP METALS!
It is a DIY BBQ GRILL/GRILL which resembles the famous Fighet Spacecraft from the also famous movie....
Most of it was made of old upycled materials that otherwise would have simply ended up in the trash. I created the BBQ by using an Old Water Heater that I found thrown in the trash, a Car Disc Brake and a few Old Shock Absorbers as well as other old metals!

I love watching and learning how thing are made with recycled stuff. It’s amazing some of the items used, to create another just fascinates me. I take old jewellery and transform them into my own beautiful designs.

@@RustisGold yeah it’s a great art, I wish. More young out people would learn a trade, it’s the way forward, for some to have a lifelong career, hand made it’s just the best thing to me.
I totally agree with you... Unfortunately more and more people are unable to understand that by learning a trade they could have the long life career. In some cases they even consider learning a trade to be derogatory...

I love it. The only change I'd make is...scale it up to about 50% larger with the same proportions.

Wow that turned out exelent! ps: you need a plasma cutter :D it would save you a lot of time and cutting discs :) Anyways, great work!
Thanks again for your comments! I was thinking of buying a plasma cutter however I feel very comfortable using a cutting disc. Plus the cost of cutting discs is not high...
@@RustisGold Np its i that should thank you :) Yes the cutting discs arent that expensive, but new mashines is allways fun ;) i bought my plasma at lidl for 149 euro. Totaly worth it even thoug its a cheap one its good enough for me :D

´Εχω δει αρκετά από τα γλυπτά σας και βρίσκω το ένα πιο εντυπωσιακό από το άλλο, σε βαθμό που θα πρότεινα να τα εκθέσετε σε κάποια γκαλερί.

αδερφε καλημερα...τελεια δουλεια θερμα συγχαρητηρια..αν εισουν στο αμερικα και το εβγαζες κοπιες για πουλημα πιστευω θα εκανες τρελλες κονομες.. τα αμερικανακια κανουν κρα για κατι τετοιες ιστοριες....

Φίλε πολύ όμορφο βγήκε, δεν μιλάω για τη δουλειά και της ικανότητες σου φοβερός, αλλά έχω μια
παρατήρηση - απορία, στην λειτουργικότητα σαν bbq που είναι δεν είναι μακριά η θράκα από την σχάρα η έχεις σκεφτεί κάτι να την σηκώνεις (την θράκα) όταν πέσει η φωτιά;

Όπως καταλαβαίνεις σε τέτοιου είδους κατασκευές η λειτουργικότητα μπαίνει σε δεύτερη μοίρα! Υπερίσχυσε η αγάπη και το πάθος μου για να δημιουργήσω αυτή την ασυνήθιστη ψησταριά! Συμφωνώ μαζί σου η θράκα είναι μακριά από την σχάρα αλλά έλυσα το πρόβλημα πολύ εύκολα ηλεκτροκολλώντας στο μέσο του κυλίνδρου (στα τοιχώματα) από μια μεταλλική βέργα (στην κάθε πλευρά) όπου επάνω τους ακούμπησε μια μεταλλική πλάκα και εκεί πλέον κάθονται τα κάρβουνα.
Με αυτόν τον τρόπο τα κάρβουνα βρίσκονται στην μισή απόσταση από αυτή που βλέπεις στο βίντεο. 😊👍

Ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ!! Δεν γνωρίζω το βάρος της αλλά είναι βαριά! Θέλει 2 άτομα να την μεταφέρουν. Βρίσκεις ένα σημείο και την αφήνεις εκεί! Δεν ήθελα να βάλω ροδάκια γιατί αισθητικά δεν μου άρεσε... Ίσως όμως να χρειάζονται για να είναι πιο πρακτική... 😊👍

Όπως αναφέρω και στα βιντεάκια με προμηθεύει με όλα τα χρώματα που χρειάζομαι για τα projects που κάνω.
@@RustisGold Να δοκιμάσετε και χημικη οξείδωση για μαύρο χρώμα, που αντέχει καλύτερα τις υψηλές θερμοκρασίες. Επίσης είναι καιρός να αναβαθμιστειτε με κανένα plasma cutter αντί του παραδοσιακού γωνιακός τροχού και ενός Mig welder. Μέχρι και ο τελευταίος άσχετος που ανεβάζει βίντεο στο TH-cam έχει Mig/Tig welder. και απ' ότι είδα είστε επαγγελματίες του χώρου.
Ευχαριστώ πολύ για τα σχόλια σας! Έχω σκεφτεί για το plasma cutter και την MIG αλλά από την άλλη πλευρά μου αρέσει να δείχνω ότι μπορείς να φτιάχνεις διάφορες κατασκευές χωρίς την χρήση εξειδικευμένων εργαλείων.

DIY my ass ! I don't have a full metal shop in my kitchen , still cool .
Except from the part were I went at this shop to have the metal sheets cut and bent the rest of the project was done with a drill, a cutting disc and a welding machine bought at a local hardware store in my neighborhood. Nothing fancy about it. Still it is DIY!
