I broke down into tears of happiness hearing this song. Oh when I was a kid I would just walk around after a long session of fishing, collecting rathian eggs after she chased me down, killing jaggis and jaggias, swimming with the sun fish and the jelly fish and the herbivores and killing some sharqs or swimming around pretending to be a sharq with the Lance on my back, jumping from the rathalos best into the ocean and climbing back from the vine, sneaking in the ludroth/lagiacrus nest, exploring the caves with a torch and seeing the gross gigis and the egg sack and walking around with the apnotoths. I rememebr the lady clapping her hands as always trying to sell her amazing fish, the cool sword dude always doing trades every now and then, that crazy cooker felyne always making me meals, the guild handler girl I always had a crush on her, the kids running across the docks, that felyne with it's farm and that secret cave with a weird statue in the waterfall, me and cha-cha dancing to this music day and night and sleeping on that super fluffy hunter bed and seeing my gobal lantern glow faintly with spikes coming out or my quropeco lamp with it's big chest glowing and seeing cha-cha's creepy masks. I miss this game so much. After long and difficult days me and my brother would just play around all day long and making cool stories and exploring the deserted island. I was always a lonely kid at school and my household was always chaotic with screaming so when I heard this I knew I was gonna be ok. This game is my home and my heart and I love every little bit of this game and really reminds me of Puerto Rico just living life day by day enjoying this small island I call home. I grew up on this game too with the 3ds version. They were such simpler times when you could just run around not worrying about progressing through the game. I loved searching every corner of the maps trying to find secrets and learned them all until I never had to touch a map again. Finding those shortcuts to other areas in the map was always a momentous occasion. I loved collecting every weapon that I thought looked cool, even if I would never use it. There’s still tons of random weapons sitting in my box in my old save file. I used to be so scared of all the monsters, like I would constantly replay that monster guts mission where the lagiacrus attacks you and just sit in a corner with binoculars, shivering, so scared of being caught, but trying to observe the monster and see what it would do if I got close because no matter how scared I was I knew I would have to kill it some day. And after months of playing, I finally did and it was one of the best feelings in the world. And then not much later I had slain all of the 5 star monsters after months of thinking I would never be able to get that far because I watched so many trailers on the eshop before getting the game and I knew all the monsters but thought to myself “I’ll never be as good as the guys in the trailers.” But of course, I repelled the ceadeus after many attempts and my mom took me to a pool to celebrate in what I consider one of the happiest and most satisfying days of my life. Then I got to high rank and the cycle started all over again: terrified to the bone of deviljho, never thinking I would see the true ending but one day I finally did. And thanks to that game I’ve been playing every monster hunter game ever made, and I don’t know where I would be today if I didn’t have monster hunter to always come back to and make me happy again.
@@omegawario7479 dude same!!!! I was always terrified of the bigger monsters thinking that I'd never be able to hunt like my brother or his friends did. But I finally built the courage and after MANY traps and bombs and running away I finally killed rathian and that's when I knew I can do anything. This game is just a one of a one-of-a-kind experience that can never be replicated nor forgotten. I miss the online servers meeting all the cool people in Loc Lac, seeing the even cooler armor and weapons in the felyne's forge compared to the old man's small place. Trading with people and getting exotic potions, arm wrestling with everyone, dancing with people, celebrating events like Christmas online was just so fucking awesome cause I've never seen a online event happen before. I took time with ceadeus I really wanted to explore his map and see the history in the walls, watch his gracefully swim and it felt like as if he was flying so majestically. Seeing him in his final stage was terrifying and amazing as if I stepped and faced a god not knowing if I'll live or die. Seeing my brother be so tensed from fighting him and using the dragonator and his horn falling off was just stressful even for me XD I miss this game so much. I was playing Iceborne and I was just enjoying the sky laying back with my palico and I started to crying remembering that same night that comforted and guided me back in Tri. I connected my WII, loaded my file, and just sat back and embrace this beautiful game and it's love. I saw my character with the Ceadeus armor like a badass water God, seeing everyone still here at peace, seeing Cha-Cha being his chaotic cute self and talking to the chief for his calming words. I walked around the island at night and just sat back in the first area with the kelbis prancing around while watching that very moon. Truly this feeling was incredible to realize this ancient game and all its love and wisdom.

I'd definitely say tri has the most dedication to music, culture, monster, lore, maps, weapon design (MY BABY SWITCH AXE), online servers (besides world), and just so much like home decorations. This game is probably the most impactful game (besides 4u and world) and literally had the most people playing online on the WII. I love this game and treasure it so dearly
They chose to base X/Gen portable titles, in the sense of the titles that were called Monster Hunter Portable. Freedom, Freedom 2 and Portable 3rd. That's why for example the last 3 village quests of these games are in X/Gen (Silver+Gold, Dual Rajang and Out of the Fry Pan) and why their 3 flagships are contrasted with 3 of the 4 new flagships and have Deviants next to Glavenus and a lot more references like this.
I started with MH3U. On my first time playing I only got to barroth, but barely even had an idea of how to hunt. I shelfed the game for a month. Then picked it up and kept playing. Not any better, but more determined. Even then I was still struggling. I barely beat lagiacrus, but felt unsure of the game. Shelfed it for another month. Met my friend best friend in middle school. He also had monster Hunter. so I tried some more with him and found it fun to hunt with others, but he was put off by the game. So I hunted online. The veterans players made me see how much I didn't know. Only telling me the common etiquette of hunting and the rest I learned by watching them hunt. Hearing their calls and learning by doing. I think the moment I became a hunter was because I lost connection at the tail end of a rathalos hunt. At some point I ran out of healing item and resorted to run back to camp to rest on the bed every time I got below half health, but I still fought. Thinking I would fail, but still wanting to not waste the time I just put into a fight. Then... I won... I was 12 when that happened... I became a hunter. Struggling and fighting, but still determined to win. Ever since then I've been playing each new game.
There is VERY FEW songs that can make me break into tears of joy or help me get over sadness. This is one of them. The other two are the Katamari Damacy opening theme and the MHFU pokke village theme.
Stay healthy and strong hunters! For many, this was their starting point in Monster Hunter as children. Now, many years later as adults, let's all make it to 2025 and enjoy Wilds together!
I may not have given 3U it's chance when I first played it way back eight years ago. But after playing 4U and coming back, this theme felt like it took no offense to me leaving it in the dust. Felt like it was welcoming me back with open arms. Thanks MH3U for being my first and my favorite :)
When Tri came out, I got the bundle with the Classic Controller Pro at Future Shop (shout out to my Canadians for understanding that reference) on clearance. I was hooked. When Tri G got announced I was hoping it would come here, and when 3U dropped I got it day one on Wii U. I got even more hooked, but I lent it to a friend so that they could see what’s up. However, I wanted to play it so badly that I got a 3DS copy so we could play together. I wound up getting it digitally so I could give my physical copy to my other friend for their birthday, and we’ve all been playing the series since.
To put so much time, effort and devotion into something.. Make so many friends and lead such a legendary life, then have it stripped from you at the very least is disappointing. But I owe a great deal to this game, it empowered me surpass my own expectations at a time when I felt very weak. Needless to say it's still one of my most favorite games of all time
I feel you. I got into Monster Hunter 1 afew months later my life got turned on it's side. And Monster Hunter was one of the things in my life that I enjoyed at that time. And I know some people can see it as weird but I feel like it's not only a major part of my life because of that, but I owe alot to Monster Hunter. So many amazing memories at a time when I could hardly see a future in the real world.
Finally jumped into this amazing series with Rise and its been getting me excited to experience these older games eventually. Going around in the comments and seeing everyones stories and memories of these games gives me a warm feeling and honestly makes me glad that I finally hopped into Monster Hunter.
I recently decided to check on my mh3u save from about 7 years ago and I am proud to say I have over 800h in that game with most of the end game equipment organized in my box. If only I could go back in time...

Kokoto was my very first village but Pokke will always be my home 🙏🏻 Moga is a close second for me tho. Both Pokke and Moga village themes are fantastic, just a calming notion to the both of them 👌🏻
So glad they added Moga Village as a song you can play in your Seliana home in MHW Iceborne. I have it forever playing in my home now, this village was where I got my start and like many of us here it's home to me and always will be.
This brings back so many memories. I remember stepping out into the Moga Woods for the very first time, my first encounter with a jaggi, the first time I killed Lagiacrus etc. Good times.
This is so fucking beautiful. Monster hunter haunts my dreams, literally. There are worlds beyond the gaze of my conscious mind, buried somewhere inside me, nurtured with hundreds of hours of gameplay. I dream of Fatalis, of the Raths, of Greatsword (weirdly, because I usually play Lance), of some black-and-white elegant smiling dragon, of huge forests and gathering and progression...
I started with World, i'm in Rise and, even when i don't have a Wii-U or a 3DS, With Cemu, i have the opportunity to play MH3U and... Man, what a beautiful game Moga is actually one of my favorite Villages with Yukumo It's... Simply beautiful
Definitely my favorite village them from the whole franchise. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate was the first Monster Hunter game I played and is also my most nostalgic one of all. Im currently playing World and am about to finish it, so maybe I will play this game soon. Looking forward to fighting all the monsters from this game that didnt make it into World

They definitely have, I never ended up getting ultimate and 4 lmao. I am enjoying rise and I hope the Tri soundtrack makes it in the game now that we can change the music in the hubs

World and Rise just didn't do it for me the way old MH does it, so 4U is coming in clutch for me.

(Bad English incoming since I'm a Brazilian) This game will always hold a special place in my heart I didn't know anything about it or MH in general but I saw the 3ds cover and knew there was something special about it Not only because of the cool looking dragon and hunter-like dude But also because of the goofy little guys at the lower part Something about having these two opposite elements in the same picture made me think "This game is fun!" and I asked my parents if I could trade my christmas gift for the game (it was november) They agreed but said "If you regret your decision, know that you are the only one responsible for it" I didn't regret it one bit

He was a little shit, but he became my friend and I really did worry in the end when he dissappered... thank god he came back so we could kick ass again, lol. ; D
I never played much of MH3U, 4U was my real boom into the series. But I started with 3. Even though my last memory with 3 was beating Ceadeus and moving into high rank, the music from this gen is truly something special and i get emotional every time. Not saying the newer OSTs are bad, but damn it, they don't make them like they used to. Capcom, don't ever stop making masterpieces.

I remember a friend of a friend was going to donate his copy of MH3U for the WiiU because he wasn't interested in it, and my brother had been a long time fan of the series since PS2 so I took it and decided to play. I still remember the first time I turned it on and bro turned around from across the room and was like "you are playing Monster Hunter??" Turns out he had 3U for his DS already. Then for he next couple years we would just get baked and hunt together, it was a dope time. Moga village is my home ✌

There is VERY FEW songs that can make me break into tears of joy or help me get over sadness. This is one of them. The other two are the Katamari Damacy opening theme and the MHFU pokke village theme.

Summer break of 2011. Just got outta 7th grade and stayed in playing this game online grinding nonstop. Good times.
I still remember looking through the 9⭐ quests and getting the deviljho quest for fun using my brackydios dual blades
I may not have given 3U it's chance when I first played it way back eight years ago. But after playing 4U and coming back, this theme felt like it took no offense to me leaving it in the dust. Felt like it was welcoming me back with open arms. Thanks MH3U for being my first and my favorite :)
When Tri came out, I got the bundle with the Classic Controller Pro at Future Shop (shout out to my Canadians for understanding that reference) on clearance. I was hooked.
When Tri G got announced I was hoping it would come here, and when 3U dropped I got it day one on Wii U. I got even more hooked, but I lent it to a friend so that they could see what’s up. However, I wanted to play it so badly that I got a 3DS copy so we could play together. I wound up getting it digitally so I could give my physical copy to my other friend for their birthday, and we’ve all been playing the series since.
To put so much time, effort and devotion into something.. Make so many friends and lead such a legendary life, then have it stripped from you at the very least is disappointing. But I owe a great deal to this game, it empowered me surpass my own expectations at a time when I felt very weak. Needless to say it's still one of my most favorite games of all time

I feel you. I got into Monster Hunter 1 afew months later my life got turned on it's side. And Monster Hunter was one of the things in my life that I enjoyed at that time. And I know some people can see it as weird but I feel like it's not only a major part of my life because of that, but I owe alot to Monster Hunter. So many amazing memories at a time when I could hardly see a future in the real world.
Though i love rise, 4U, and all the games, Moga will always have a special place at the center of it all for me

Finally jumped into this amazing series with Rise and its been getting me excited to experience these older games eventually. Going around in the comments and seeing everyones stories and memories of these games gives me a warm feeling and honestly makes me glad that I finally hopped into Monster Hunter.
Hopefully the older games get ports to Switch, Xbox, PS and PC. More people need to play these games.^^

So glad they added Moga Village as a song you can play in your Seliana home in MHW Iceborne. I have it forever playing in my home now, this village was where I got my start and like many of us here it's home to me and always will be.

Definitely my favorite village them from the whole franchise. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate was the first Monster Hunter game I played and is also my most nostalgic one of all. Im currently playing World and am about to finish it, so maybe I will play this game soon. Looking forward to fighting all the monsters from this game that didnt make it into World

Well anyways I'm playing 4U for the first time right now and it's amazing, you shoulf definitly check it out when you find the time for it. World and Rise just didn't do it for me the way old MH does it, so 4U is coming in clutch for me.
Hearing this Theme brings back good memories of when i first got MH3 in 2009. 1 Week into my Relationship with my Girlfriend i get her the Limited Edition MH3. I bet this Soundtrack brings back good memories for her too.

I didn't know anything about it or MH in general but I saw the 3ds cover and knew there was something special about it
Not only because of the cool looking dragon and hunter-like dude
But also because of the goofy little guys at the lower part
Something about having these two opposite elements in the same picture made me think "This game is fun!" and I asked my parents if I could trade my christmas gift for the game

Even when I would be afk... just having this game playing the music in the background was so relaxing! It's such nostalgia to hear it again and I miss Cha-Cha! He was a little shit, but he became my friend and I really did worry in the end when he dissappered... thank god he came back so we could kick ass again, lol. ; D

Beautiful and relaxing... nothing short of a monster hunter game
I never played much of MH3U, 4U was my real boom into the series. But I started with 3. Even though my last memory with 3 was beating Ceadeus and moving into high rank, the music from this gen is truly something special and i get emotional every time. Not saying the newer OSTs are bad, but damn it, they don't make them like they used to. Capcom, don't ever stop making masterpieces.

@@marsimoto8980 true but there is something to be said about Astera being more industrial and less home. Iceborne kinda fixed that though, however never leaving the gathering hall kinda hampers that still in sense of scale.
I remember a friend of a friend was going to donate his copy of MH3U for the WiiU because he wasn't interested in it, and my brother had been a long time fan of the series since PS2 so I took it and decided to play. I still remember the first time I turned it on and bro turned around from across the room and was like "you are playing Monster Hunter??" Turns out he had 3U for his DS already. Then for he next couple years we would just get baked and hunt together, it was a dope time. Moga village is my home ✌
