Wellington Harbour Delivers: Kingfish Action & Rare Dolphin Encounter!

A ripper of a day out in Wellington Harbour. Started with an early morning and boosted out to the Blue Cod spot, which was pretty slow, managing only 1 legal Cod, 5 Barracuda, an Octopus, and a couple fat Kahawai. Moved spots and on the way in we ran into a pod of Dusky Dolphins which was sick to see! We tried a couple of spots in the Harbour catching bugger all until we decided to have a troll for a Kingfish. We marked a couple Kings on the fish finder and trolled above them, It came up to the surface and had three goes before it hooked up and I was in for a 15-minute fight!
