Thanks alot Brandon now i am ready and i cant wait to get the iphone 12🙌
I’ve got a 12 mini with around 5:30 hours battery life
I got an SOT of 8+ hours from 100% all the way down to 0% on my iPhone 12 after following all the neat tips and tricks in this video. Thanks Brandon.
Note: I unplugged my phone from the charger at 12:00 AM at 100% to get a fresh start on the screen time cycle.
Should we use auto brightness?
When im watching youtube for 40 minutes on my phone. It littetly takes 30% battery.
When I started to watch this video I had 66% battery, I watched the whole video and I lost only 3% off battery
iPhone 12 pro
@@danielwiederman8161 i want iphone 11 pro. I hate my phone now xD. Mi mix 3
@@luukdebeijer5062 oh damn, sorry to hear that!
I had OnePlus 7t and after ten years with Android I'm kinda have mixed feelings
@@danielwiederman8161 7t is a great phone. I wanna step to apple because of great software and excelent build quality. Very good reliable camera's and decent to great battery life.
@@luukdebeijer5062 don't get me wrong, the apple eco system is great (I own everything in 'pro' except apple tv) but I'm feeling my op7t has faster and more efficient UI, in iPhone sometimes I need to make 3-4 more taps to achieve the same result but the camera, ecosystem is unbeatable by large margin
Also, don’t forget to turn off raise to wake!
Good video Brandon, regarding charging the phone overnight, does it matter if a fast charger is used or a regular charger?
I have the same question.
Great video Brandon! I have the iPhone 12 Pro with 20W charging adapter. Which charger do use/ used for the 100% battery life? The 5W?
Yeah 5w wont have the same impact as the 20w, and the 5w barely heats up the battery as well so I just use the 5w one as well
@@lilobungus1572 20 watt has never made my phone heat
Thanks dude!!!
Very nice vid 👍🏼 Thanks. Justo one question, you say you charge you phone every night, in the case of this iPhone 12 Pro do you use a 5W carger or an 18 or 20W?
I am wondering the same
My Samsung s7 broke. Should i buy iPhone 12 or iPhone 11 pro? The 11pro is 50$ cheaper.
Heyyy great video !! I have a 6s u advice me to buy 12 pro or 11 pro ?? ❤️❤️❤️❤️
11 Pro is more than enough. If you can afford the 12 pro then get it, but there's little difference in the two
Hi, do you use fast charger (18-20watt provided by apple) or a lower wattage charger when you charge overnight? Thank you
Does dis work on da iPhone 12 pro max?
There are some good tips there, but a big part of this video was a bit embarrassing, because you were basically saying not to use all those cool things in your iPhone, don't even enable vibration and sound, so that you can save your battery. It doesn't have to come to this.
True. I mean I really don’t need 13 hours of screen on time so I’d rather just use my phone normally the way I want to even if that means having a little less battery life.
Great tips Brandon. Thanks.
Question - I use leave my phone on Low Power Mode all the time, even if it's not under 40%. is that gonna have a negative or positive effect on my battery life?
Low power mode won't affect your battery at all
It won't negatively affect battery life per se, but it kinda defeats the purpose of the feature
It affects a lot of other features but not the battery
I used about 5-6 tips! Thanks a lot. Won’t know how much this will help me because I just took ur advice but I’m very optimistic!
What phone do you have? Give an update on How it worked 😉
Currently i'm getting 6h SOTwith out of the box settings, I'll try these tips and somebody please reminds me by commenting to report back some time from now
Should I turn on or off for the True Tone ?
IPhone 12 pro Max will be a battery life king !!!
Vhsss Tv the 11 pro max is the king 👑 my dude
Lol as per your terms “usage” I am using my 11 pro max 16 hours per day with 9 hrs screen on.
So you go 16 hours every day without charging it at all?
@@BrandonButch I usually charge overnight. Then start using it around 6 am in the morning. Using all day without charging and putting it back on the charger at 12 everyday. I will share my SS via IG.
Which charger do you for charging overnight ? 5w or fast charger like 18w or 20w. And when do you unplug the charger directly in the morning or in between at night. Please clear these doubts. Thanks in advance
Very helpful, thank you
Thank you for your video. I just bought an Iphone 12 pro 3 days ago and when I made the 2nd charge, it doesnt went over 98% ... Did you guys have the same issue? Thanks!
Yeah i unplugged at 98% and powered my phone off but when i turned it on it was 100 so it is 100 but it says 98
I just got the IPhone 12 in Blue, can’t wait to use it 😁
Mine just dropped to 99 ): and i have the pro max
@@losamigos6957 same but i’m on pro

Is it worth getting the Pro max over the Pro just for the battery life? I dont really care fir the camera upgrades, I do like the size of the 12 Pro more but would get the Max instead if it has better battery life...
I'd feel the 12 Pro Max in hand before deciding. If you don't mind the massive device then sure. Its battery will likely be overkill though
@@BrandonButch I did use the XS max before and wasn't a huge fan and I believe the Pro max is bigger than the XS max... After watching your battery videos I'm leaning more towards the 12 Pro just for the comfort and I honestly had no idea you could save so much battery by just tweaking some settings.
@@mshiraff If you have any doubt about the extra cost not being justified, go for the regular pro
@@cs_044 Only real reason Id get the Max is better battery life and I dont feel like the extra cost is worth it. I mean the regular Pro isn't horrible so I'll stick to my gut feeling and go for the Pro.
@@mshiraff Thats an alright choice then, If you don't really care about the camera upgrade on the promax and the huge display and the bigger battery, then yeah I agree. I couldn't afford the Pro so I went for the regular 12 instead.
Very informative! Thank You!
this was so helpful thank you. i just used some of the tips. 😌
I unfortunately have the 11 Pro Max, so this video doesn’t apply to me, but I’m sure it’s great and helpful 😊👍🏼
It applies to all iPhones! This just so happens to be about the 12
@@BrandonButch I know it was. It was mostly about the 5G, where I couldn’t relate 😊 I’ll finish watching it now 👍🏼
Thank you!
Can you charge it once it’s out the box?
Hi Sir, does your 12 pro really last for 9hr +? And, how many hours does it need to be fully (100%) charged (wired charging)
.
Sir, I am an Android user and i would like to switch to an IOS platform. Could you please give a honest opinion in order to buy an Iphone 12 Pro. I am waiting your feedback and it will be appreciated..
thank you, anish
Screen on time that shows more than 9 hrs includes the usage before previous charging hours. You need to take the usage after dark green( that shows the usage from last 100% charge). And you battery about to die while you record this video. If i’m not wrong, total must be just around 6.5-7 hrs max. Thats pretty common.
Phones are supposed to serve you, you are not supposed to serve phone
Don't buy a headache(Iphone)
Okay. So what Phone do you expect us to buy?
Hey bro should I wait for the pro max or just get the pro? Debating on it tbh.
Nice video. In my settings I couldn’t find the “mail” option or even the “music” one. Where would I go to have it restored? I “reset all settings”my iPhone 12 Pro Max hoping it would show up again but no luck. Any ideas?
I’m getting about 5 hours, 5hr 30mins of on screen time on iPhone 12 pro on 4G on 14.2, what are other people getting not that impressed. Don’t game mainly just social media cheers guys.
I love videos like that. I have to charge my IPhone 11 every three days.
Funny, I have to charge it every 3 hours.
@@minionsutunning385 then you are definitely doing something wrong.
@@horrorpodcast0707 What could I be doing wrong? It think it’s the update tbh.
How does one get almost 10 hours of screen on time in 13 hours?
Easy. SOT includes the time before the charge as well. It's for the whole 24 hours!
What's this screen off time in battery!?
I always keep my battery on low power mode. It actually helps out a lot. I thought he’s mention that
you’re just slowing your phone down and not getting the full value of it lmao
@@rowanfrost5589 slowing my phone down? How so?
@@metalmanny666 do you know what low battery mode does? and why it works? it slows your phone down and stops some functions to preserve battery life.
I changed my mail to fetch every hour that seems reasonable. Thanks
How to do that
@@jcdenton4902 settings>mail>accounts>fetch new data>hourly. I also have push turned off.
I have an interesting question, since i got the magsafe charger with my iPhone 12 pro and I’ve been only charging using the magsafe with 20w brick. The question is, the iPhone heats a bit when it’s wireless charging, would this degrade the battery life? If so do you personally think that MagSafe is bad for battery lifespan? 🤔 thanks for the content
Yes magsafe is worse for your battery than wired charging. But not by much as it is still way better for the battery than standard wireless charging sconce it's creates a secure magnetic link
@@tatoman9569 I think both wireless and magsafe are bad for battery degradation for iPhones because i just completed exactly one year with my iPhone 12 pro and i have 88% battery health 🔋 which is considered bad I assume
@@TheZxfreedomxz it’s not good or bad. The average battery health after 1 year is 90% so yes MagSafe could affect that a bit but if you just used standard wireless charging the battery health would be 80-85.
Thanks man
