IOS13 is so buggy, wth? I’m having a severe battery drain on this IOS, no changes to my settings or usage. Also I have a hard time with the swipe up to “kill” apps like I used to. Apple needs to update this IOS soon.
AliveWithPassion I’m seeing this too on the 11 pro max actually. Quite annoying when getting a new phone. But I’m sure a software fix is on the way because iOS 13.1 has been out for a bit now for developers. I think it’s on the third version.
iOS 13 variants suck. Some of my apps crash especially Uber across my iPhones ranging from Xs to XS Max. Apple support team hasn’t been able to solve it yet and they seem to be ignorant about it. They pretend to by ignorant aniut it.
Roland Koller my battery life on iPhone 11 Pro Max is awful, i started watching this vid on either 85 or 86 now it’s at 81. I’m now on iOS 13.4.1 or something and it’s the exact samr
If your looking at you’re phone it will not lock or dim the display. I don’t understand why you would have auto lock set to anything other then 1 minute. When your looking at your display will not dim. And if you put auto lock on never. You are allowing anyone into your device if something happens or it is stolen. All you do by turning off auto lock is make your iPhone much less secure, nothing makes me cringe more then giving bad advice. Keep auto lock on 1 minute and you’re all set.. Also pro tip, screen time uses a pretty good hunk of your battery life. You will often see people gain roughly 10% of their charge. Sometimes more sometimes less. Just because it’s constantly monitoring you’re usage and what does what. Another pro tip. Now, I also found that when you use you’re phone it tends to burn up battery life. So you might want to think about turning off youre phone unless you absolutely need to text or call. So keep you’re phone off unless you need it. Just keep your phone off because why use up all that sweet nectar in your battery when you could be saving that for when you absolutely need it!!! - that was not a real tip. But it does work. XD Final tip. Remember that you are going to be next to a charger or outlet for your charger more often then not. Buy a little 10,000 mah charger. I have one with me when I am out and know I will not be near an outlet. You get two full charges and then you literally never have to worry about turning off so many features you use and love. Lastly. Lithium ion battery’s have 500 charge cycles on average. Charge your phone from 0 to 100 and that is one cycle but if you charge your phone 30% to 80% four times that is also one charge cycle. So what I do is always charge my phone between 30 and 80 if you go from 50 to 80 4 times it’s not even a full cycle. The math is weird, but it definitely works. You can check your charge cycles with a program for Windows/Mac/Linux, it allows you to see how many you have left. So it is true that charging your phone more frequently is better but you also don’t want to charge it to 100% every time. With that said keep in mind that you can have a new battery installed for a small price if you have AppleCare. So don’t go too crazy or spend too much time trying to figure out every little thing that can make your battery last longer or keep your phone from losing a couple percent throughout the day. Enjoy your phone and it’s features!
Anna Demchenko it’s only pointless to charge to 100% instead of 80% if your plan on charging your phone again that day. Because the way charge cycles work, you can actually get away with using much less charge cycles and change your phone more times. 35% to 85% works great and you will actually only use 4 charge cycles if you charge from 35 to 85 or 30 to 80 rather 4 times rather then doing something like 1% to 100% that will use a full cycle. Check it out. I downloaded the software for windows that tells you how many cycles you have used on your iPhone. I went from using almost two a day to two cycles every 2 days. Charging my phone from 30% to 80% and only to 100% if I am going to be going out for the night and I’m not sure when or if I will make it back home until morning. Also check out some shortcuts that will alert you when your battery is at a certain percentage. That’s how I manage charging only to 80% and knowing that I need to charge if I’m getting down below 35% I use a Anker 10,000 MAH battery pack if I’m not near a wall outlet. And considering how fast these phones charge up using usb c on a PD adapter you don’t really have any downtime. It takes maybe 25 minute to go from 30 to 80. One last thing don’t worry too much about this only so it when it’s convenient because even if you only do it half the time you are saving yourself many charge cycles.
@@denhamk So glad I'm not the only one!! I had spectacular battery on 12.4.1 and ios13.0 battery is only decent. My battery capacity went from 93% with 12 to 94% with 13 too. Proves it is the software

Please help. Hello. In my Iphone 6s, I went to Settings->Battery and turned ON the "Low Power Mode". But everytime I charge the phone, the "Low Power Mode" is turned OFF again. How can I keep it ON all the time and prevent it from turning OFF? Thanks.

Curious on why putting your phone on Low Power Mode is bad, & if it's an app that you use once in awhile but wont use for like a week+ , shouldn't we kill that one instead of having it run in the background for that time? Thank you :)
Please do a battery drain test whenever you have the time! We’d love to see a comparison between this years iPhone and last years in terms of battery life. Also, would be nice to see how it competes with its competitors like Samsung! Thanks in advance from everyone 😀👍
Another tip to save battery life is turn off True Tone, it adjust a lot and drains battery, and with it off you can see your screen better at a much lower brightness
Daniel Naveda yes before dark mode I wouldn’t turn off True Tone, but dark mode makes True Tone pretty useless, so now I keep my bright a 30% and never go higher, usually at 20% and honestly it looks way better, True Tone makes everything yellow and adjust all the time which could hurt your eyes to
No dude what I’m saying is when you have dark mode on, True Tone have very little to make less blue, True Tone makes everything yellow that is white, but if you put 25% Brightness nothing is blue, dark mode gets rid of blue making True Tone useless in my experience, everything looks a lot better since I’ve turned it off, I’ve had ever iPhone since iPhone 3 so I like without true tone I’m used to it, plus my iPhone XR saves hours of battery, truetone isn’t worth it
this was so helpful because when my mom and i updated to ios 13 the battery in our phones would be draining very fast so this was very helpful thank you
Hi! Thanks so much for your tips.. I have a question... iphone 11 pro came with fst charger, do you recommend to buy another to charge my phone correctly so I can improve my battery life?
Yesterday i woke up at 2pm and took both the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Xs Max from the charger and wanted to see the difference and how long is it gonna last till i go back to sleep... and i went to sleep 6:30am yeah am not pm 🤣 so i was awake like 16:30 hours awake and i took a screenshot for every phone they both are 100% battery Capacity SO iPhone 11 Pro Max was at 80% 😳 and the iPhone Xs Max was 69% 😁 and i was using both normally like youtube and twitter and Instagram and recording vid and taking pics... I'm really impressed with both especially the iPhone 11 Pro Max 😍👍🏻
Do you have any link for cool wallpapers, or the wallpapers/backgrounds you got on in your this iPhone? If not, no problemo. In any case, thank you for the tips - I definitely learned some new things and applied them just now. 8 )
Thanks for the video Brandon I thought I had my power settings figured out, by 5pm I usually at 49% with revised settings based off your video I’m at 70% today (xs max)
I always wonder how anyone gets a full day out of any phone, and I have a Xr... but I know that I use my phone a lot more than the average person so I just have to live with the fact that more usage= less battery life
Maybe try to not be always at your phone? For me its the opposite, I don't understand how someone always have to recharge their phone during the day. Just stop being on your phone all the time.
SoYoung24 Well I have to admit I don’t like how much I use my phone but I don’t recharge my phone because have to, it’s because it bothers me when it goes below 50%, and charging it before it gets below 60% helps with battery health. But I average about 6-8 hours of screen time every day
@@Senster369 I personally do not find bugs while normally using the phone but on in apps. Sometimes the app crashes, gets stuck or when you tap on something nothing shows up. These will happen from time to time.
After unboxing my new 11 .. I switched it on , used it till it was 24 % and then charged it up to 100 🙃. What is the best charging practice on the very first use when it’s new...? Sorry I am granny in a young body...don’t understand lol
My iPhone 11 Pro Max has around 75% after a full workday with AirPods and streaming music the whole time. I don't have anything turned off, This thing is a tank!
I always close my apps no matter what L🤣L I’ll try not to tho 😓 oh and bro u have a shit loaf of short cuts, can u make a video showing and explaining then. Maybe even sharing ur top ten list?
What about under settings>privacy>share my location? “Find my phone” is always on and I like that, but also “share my location” is also on at all times? Can I turn this off since I don’t share my location through messages? Is it draining my battery? Also, on my 11 pro running iOS 13.1.2 there isn’t a “music” setting under settings to chose to turn off EQ. Is it located somewhere else?
Hope you guys learned something new! What's your personal #1 battery saving tip?

No dude what I’m saying is when you have dark mode on, True Tone have very little to make less blue, True Tone makes everything yellow that is white, but if you put 25% Brightness nothing is blue, dark mode gets rid of blue making True Tone useless in my experience, everything looks a lot better since I’ve turned it off, I’ve had ever iPhone since iPhone 3 so I like without true tone I’m used to it, plus my iPhone XR saves hours of battery, truetone isn’t worth it
Would the smart battery case train my battery health?
The never autolock was a big no dawg
Definitely put it on 30 seconds if you really need to save battery
Actually thats wrong because the screen takes more battery to dim and click back to wake it up consrantly
Constantly*^. And also you naturally lock your phone when you stop using it
Jovan Traljic sure but someone can easily take your phone n have full access without the lockscreen or password
VNY D you got a valid point there.
when should i charge my iphone 11, 30% or 20%

Which ad blocker have you installed?
Angi Livermore I don’t have one. I now see why I don’t get that option. Which Ad Blocker do you suggest buying?

Hello guys, when do you turn off your device? Every night? Or more likely every week?
Thanks Again Brandon! ☺️
Of course 😊
Hi! Thanks so much for your tips.. I have a question...
iphone 11 pro came with fst charger, do you recommend to buy another to charge my phone correctly so I can improve my battery life?
Do using dark mode & having dark wallpapers on iPhone 8+ doesn’t save battery life at all?
No, this will only help on OLED devices.
Aj Cx unfortunately not bro. Your iPhone 8+ (as well as 8) only has an LCD screen which means your phone still has to power those dark/black pixels.
which is better light or dark screen?
This comment was so useless, you just wanted to flex
@@LOKIFY I'm just surprised that's it.. I thought it will be 50% or lower
LOKIFY lol you triggered.
what the?
I would leave Significant Locations on; it's a key part of the ML behind Optimized Battery Charging
Do you have any link for cool wallpapers, or the wallpapers/backgrounds you got on in your this iPhone? If not, no problemo. In any case, thank you for the tips - I definitely learned some new things and applied them just now. 8 )
Just setup my iPhone to these settings, I’m hoping they do well. Thank you.
Just did too. Hoping for a better outcome
I did the same with my iphone 7 plus
Yeah same! Did it work?
Thanks for the video Brandon I thought I had my power settings figured out, by 5pm I usually at 49% with revised settings based off your video I’m at 70% today (xs max)

Is it harmful for always turn on Battery saving mode?
I always wonder how anyone gets a full day out of any phone, and I have a Xr... but I know that I use my phone a lot more than the average person so I just have to live with the fact that more usage= less battery life
Victor Ryan try getting the pro max, xr isn’t the battery king.
But I average about 6-8 hours of screen time every day
Just got a iphone x recently and its on ios 12.4.1, worth updating to ios 13?
Yes but there are a lot of bugs.
@@nevillemathew6521 what sort of bugs?
@@Senster369 I personally do not find bugs while normally using the phone but on in apps. Sometimes the app crashes, gets stuck or when you tap on something nothing shows up. These will happen from time to time.
@@nevillemathew6521 but these small things can and probably will be fixed by updates later right? Also how has battery and performance been affected?
Sen Thotawatte ofc the bugs will be fixed. The battery and performance will still be perfect.
You’re amazing. Thank you for this.
No problem 😁
My iphone 11 pro comes with a 18w adapter which is considered to be fast changer. What do i do in this case?
When will you make a battery test ?
It’s coming tomorrow
Brandon Butch I need that wallpaper 🙏
this tips work on ios14?
I use wireless charging every night since I had my XS max last october and my battery health is still at 100%.
SoYoung24 facts I do the same with my XS Max with my wireless charger
How true that if your phone is a brand new, you have to drain first the battery before you charge it into full? Thank you in advance for answer 😊
I don’t see content blockers under general
Tears💔😭
you have to download an adblocker and then you will see content blockers in safari in settings
same
After unboxing my new 11 .. I switched it on , used it till it was 24 % and then charged it up to 100 🙃. What is the best charging practice on the very first use when it’s new...? Sorry I am granny in a young body...don’t understand lol
I can’t find an option in like content blocker..
You need to install ad blocker first
Great idea! A video worth watching! Please release a video regarding when i should charge my phone and how? Thanks!
I’ve had iPhone x s max for a year now, allways used wireless charger, my battery is still in 99%
My iPhone 11 Pro Max has around 75% after a full workday with AirPods and streaming music the whole time. I don't have anything turned off, This thing is a tank!
What’s the point having a smart phone when you have to turn most things off to save battery life😞I might as well use my Nokia 3310 if that’s the case.
Is an iPad charger considered as a fast charger ?
In today’s standards, totally not. But in Apple yes
I always close my apps no matter what L🤣L I’ll try not to tho 😓 oh and bro u have a shit loaf of short cuts, can u make a video showing and explaining then. Maybe even sharing ur top ten list?
Joakin Castanaza SAME ITS AN ADDICTION and I can’t get peace when I don’t close them lol
Hi do you also suggest to turn off the blue tooth?
Yeah if you don’t use it
This video helped me so much
Glad to hear! 👌🏻
