This is exactly why i watch this channel.... a great driver doing what he does best... wringing every drop of performance from every car he drives! That looked like a ton of fun!!!!!!
I love the format now with car intro, lap, and then thoughts. When the cars are modded I do wish you’d spend a few more minutes hearing about all the specific upgrades. Coming from the states I love seeing the style and approach the Ring cars take to track modifications.
Wow! looks like a perfect setup for this track. Watching this is way more enjoyable than your previous m2/m4 drives. It just seems so stable and sounds like a proper little racecar that you can wring out to its limits. This car is so good!
This is exactly why I love my E36. When I go out on the track I am driving the car. Not the other way around. This is from the long gone days of what ( the ultimate driving machine) used to meen.
4:48 ... heck I have trouble with 2nd gear just commuting. :-) What an amazing lap. The sound alone is worth it, but watching a skilled driver get that much out of a relatively stock car is amazing. Thanks.
Shorter 3rd gear would own the ring even more. Great car, great lap....had me excited towards the second half of the lap with that M2 on his butt....nicely done.
This is how all new M cars should sound.. REAL sounds of driving an M car!! 💯👍 WHAT a lap Misha... well done and damn good drivning..and could see the owner smile from time to time😀
Awesome car, and great lap, especially the end. Misha seemed so fulfilled after driving the car, and you could see the owner enjoyed it aswel! He definitely appreciated the compliments to the car 😄 And what the heck did that dude at the very end say 😂😂
Tell the car's owner to get a stapler that would be used to staple papers together and open it up as if you would want to staple paper to a board and staple the headliner up to the fiberboard. Best option until he can pull the seats and the cage.
@@UmarTheGreat10 Step 1: Get out the basement Step 2: Go to the Nürburgring Step 3: Observe that the most cars you'll see there are modified BMW E36's Step 4: Stop taking comments on TH-cam so seriously.
@@rideepicdriveepic My, aren't we witty. If you see many modified E36s it's because they're a great affordable platform when properly set up. Far from the king though. In most of Misha's videos he's passing them left and right because they're usually pretty slow (though a blast to drive). So by king what do you mean? Far from the quickest, and there are more enjoyable visceral cars out there as well (notice how Misha always has the most fun in old school VTEC Honda builds)
@@UmarTheGreat10 ....erm yeah. Sure. I suggest you actually go there and see for yourself instead of forming your opinion based on the stuff you watch on youtube.
@@rideepicdriveepic Right, because all the Nurburgring videos don't portray reality and in real life it's totally different where E36 are gapping every car. Get real. Look I own a built e92 so have nothing against BMW but it's delusional to call any BMW the king of the Nurburgring. I'd argue something like Porsche GT3 cars and the like
Fun to watch that drive. Those missed gears! The poor guy in the white car must have thought you were intentionally slowing down then taking off just to mess with him.
Love the car! Misha you are an inspiration once again, thanks to you I now have a goal to sell my z4 coupe, buy a Cayman/911 S and hopefully meet you later in the year
In older cars fwd or rwd ( manuals ) with 300hp for example, you need a skill, in 500 hp+ cars with quatro and automatic you only go full throttle. ITS fun too. :)
misha you said what i was thinking about, the car revs just way to nice! i could see it handles really controllable not to much understeer oversteer just perfect, it revs high and quite good, maybe just a PINCH of power but well on the other hand it doesnt need it, somehow the mondern bmw behind you couldnt overtake you, he was catching up when u messed up your breaking in the slowest corner (Wehrseifen). i expected he will catch up and overtake you on the uphill section, kesselchen. he didnt :o) great driving!
A nicer sound than that really loud Porsche Cayman you had on imo. This car was great excellent performance and it didnt really seem so ruff in there on you, good suspension nice seats, the steering wheel is exactly what id want too
130°C no probem for S50 with good oil:D I drove a full trackday in my old S50B30 with a stuck oil thermostat at mostly 150°C without a problem, car still drives today without overhaul...
Very sorted package, suspension and brakes spot on and despite probably having less than 300bhp in reality due to the age of the engine it performed exceptionally well and looked fantastic fun to drive flat out.
What a fantastic video! This was like a time travel for me. I bought an E36 M3 3.2 in 2007 and modified it for the Nordschleife (welded rollcage, KW Competition suspension, Porsche 993 Turbo brakes, bucket seats etc.) and made uncountable laps during Touristenfahrten as I lived only 15 minutes away from the Ring at that time. In 2008 I took part in my first RCN race, and from 2009-2012 I participated in several more RCN races, modified the car more and more, so it hat only 1280 kg, but was no more street legal. It was a wonderful time, I won some prices and the car was a joy to drive and I still own it (though never drove it since 2012...). Sometimes I remember the good times I had there on the track with this outstanding car. Here's one of my laps: th-cam.com/video/YSvpkgLex0M/w-d-xo.html

Thats why the 80's cars were the best, minimum weight, little or no assitance, just the most fun for your engine size. They were deadly tho, better not crash.
Why is this more fun to watch than any new stuff with 500+ hp.
Epic car!!!
All that mathers is horsepower these days…
More dynamic, more engaging, more fun. New cars are so fast they can make the speed look boring!
Cuz analog dash ofc
We could actually afford this one.
That was mental! staying ahead of the M2 with a manual was exciting to watch!
MISHA yall! hehehe

Could listen to these all day... and as per usual with E36 content, now I miss my old E36 Race car all over again 😂
I owned one of these when I lived in Spain. Drove it all over the continent. Ring, autobahn, IT Riviera, Switzerland and more. I miss that car.
Old school cars are just something else man 🙌 the rawness is unmatched 🔥

The best sound!! This E36 is very good
The further away Misha got, the more the M2 behind him lagged, he was receiving a huge boost following Misha line.

It was nice to have a reference in the rear cam. The E36 definitely looks sticky and these motors sound good.
Nothing like the older cars to put a smile on your face. Wish my E90 revved the way that E36 does. Extra 1000rpm to play with, and it sounds awesome.
your thoughts was always very interesting and pleasant to see, thank you very much misha. Big pleasure to watch all your videos :)
WHOO!!! Mischa pushing HARD in this one. That M2 or whatever was behind him got him going. FUN lap!!
Car sounds terrific. Low traffic on this one. Got to open her up real good. ☮️💙
