It looks so terrifying. Just imagine getting your teeth knocked in by such a threat before you fall and get a good distance away from them, only to see them eagerly trying to reach you like he ain't done beating you yet
The “adopted the dark” monologue gets me every time. Especially the intensity in which he says “blinding”
I was born in it. Molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man. By then it was nothing to me but blinding
same here, it's really iconic. Other thing i love about it is the deep meaning behind it, it describes Bane's character. His upbringing was terrible, he grew up in a very hostile place that didnt care about morals, everyone is just there for themselves. Trapped down in a hole with limited supplies, hungry, thirsty, bored. Its a dark place. "I didnt see the light until I was already a man". The darkness has already become a part of him, he has already set beliefs and self institutions to survive in such conditions. Before that, he constantly hoped to be 'saved', to be free, but that hope did nothing for him. So, he became the darkness in order to survive it. When he has came outside, when all these "positive" things arrive, its already too late, he has become the final product, the sculpture is finished.
"By then it was nothing but BLINDING". It describes his contempt for the light, it did nothing when he was in such awful conditions, only the darkness saved him and built him to be this strong and powerful.

Ledgers joker was more entertaining it was awesome, but I think Bane was more threatening and darker. I prefer Bane to joker tbh but love the trilogy

Bane was perfectly played, right up until he was revealed to be Thalia Al Ghul's henchman. Bane is nobody's henchman.

To be fair, I read it less as him being her henchman, and more as him loving her to the point of wanting to give her her hearts desire.
yes, the ending was a second thought. Had nothing to do with the film whatsoever. I've heard of plot twists ,but that was dreadful and spoils the film immeasurably.

There can be no shadow of a doubt that Tom Hardy gave the performance of a lifetime as Bane in terms of physicality as well as his voice. And that the character is considered to be one of the 'absolute' best to ever appear in comic book films and films in general.

Tom Hardy played the part of Bane perfectly. His voice correctly portrayed the stature and the malice of the character. We might never know, but I don't think any other actor can play Bane as flawlessly as Hardy did in DKR.
