I wish there was a "Chair turn but I can't pick you" red option. To honor the performer and performance. I didn't know this song before Ibe performed it here but it seems more perfect for him and this time in his life. It seems like a youthful "first love" kind of song and he really nailed it.

Just like Bart said, what you did with that song, the voice, the way you gave that song a place, the final touches... everything was really great. I will recommend to work a bit on when you go for the high notes when you're singing, but I can imagine here in these circumstances... You did it very well. I do sometimes have the feeling thinking there's an amazing band or 'de Nant' is an amazing piano player, let them do the playing, but with you I didn't have that feeling. The language by the way is Flemish, only spoken by around 6 million people in the Flanders (=Vlaanderen), which is the North side of Belgium. (The south side(5 million people) speak French) Flemish is the belgian version of Dutch. The differences between Flemish and Dutch are about as big as the differences between American English and British English. So on paper it's pretty much the same language, just a couple of words are different and of course the accent sounds A LOT different.

I absolutely love the way he covered this song. He slowed it down just a tad and made it so simple and emotional with his elegant piano skills. I also completely adore his melty voice tone, it’s so slow and smooth and deep and rich. After this, I found and listened to his full cover but I think I enjoy this version a little more because you can hear how much he's developed from when he recorded the full cover, and it’s insane. I really hope he wins because I haven’t heard a voice I loved so much in a long time.

I love the look on his brothers face when he’s playing the piano before he starts singing. He just looks so proud and he has no doubts his brother is going to be a star and wow everyone. All those years of listening to him, you just see the look in his eyes like “go get it bro”

That’s the biggest flaw of this show, teams getting full. Imagine not being able to turn for such a beautiful voice
this isnt a competiton anymore, he just destroyed everyone there! one of the most awesome, perfect pitch full soothing voices I ever heard, like straight out of a record with autotune, this mans vocal chords are made from gold + awesome piano playing = PURE TALENT

Before I clicked on this audition I wasn't even prepared for that voice... I got goosebumps just hearing him play the piano in the beginning. WOW.
What Ibe shows here is you don’t need to have an insane vocal range or belting ability to be great. His tone, his quality and talent is one of a kind. This was the perfect audition because it showed only the positives in his vocal ability. Well done Ibe. You definitely deserved to win just from this audition alone!
