DSDS ist eine Müllsendung auf RealityTV-Niveau, bei der es darum geht, bewusst Menschen mit unter anderem Behinderung vorführen und damit die Quote zu halten. First time I’ve seen this in 2025. My 65 year old dad is a huge scorpions fan and I grew up listening to them because of that. This is wildly impressive. He loved watching it too.
Er ist auf jeden Fall ein Ausnahmetalent. Im Rock Bereich ist die Show noch nicht so gut besetzt, daher kann er weit kommen ähnlich wie Mathias Nebel ein wirklicher Gewinn für die Show!

Yeah, effortless is the key word here. I'm nigh on tone deaf and understand next to nothing about music, but even I can hear the talent here. The way he sings is just magical.
Ridiculously perfect. First that slight raspy grain, then kicking into headvoice and hitting that falsetto without a single bulging vein or breaking a sweat. Top notch vibrato and breathing technique. Absolutely amazing.
Forget this is an audition... For me, it's a concert performance, excellent vocal range... A true rocker... That's what I call a show stopper... Good luck man.. The wold of music is bigger because of you.
This soul is rare. He simply sang, with pure love, makes everybody happy, satisfied everybody. His kid so gorgeous too. So humble, picking first turning front chair.
Sebastian not only has a great voice, he knows how to showcase it as well. You have to show your range without overdoing it, and he did that very well. Congrats!

Ich bin ganz ehrlich, als dieser unscheinbare junge Mann damals in den Blinds auftrat habe ich ihn zwar sehr gefeiert, aber ich hätte mir bei der krassen Konkurrenz dieses Jahr nie träumen lassen, dass er wirklich the Voice of Germany 2021 wird. Dennoch absolut verdient, der Kerl ist einfach eine musikalische Maschine! Glückwunsch!

@@colynians But also the song already starts in quite a high range for a male singer and that's not falsetto. And even the falsetto, to sing these passages in a way that it sounds grounded and established, is pretty good. You can hear, when he sings the encore, the falsetto is not as clear as in the first run through... Anyway, I feel this guy also spreaded such a confidence in his vocal ability and performing this song, considering that you must be nervous also, this was a very very good audition.

Es wird höchste Zeit, daß eine Rockstimme dieses Format gewinnt. Dieses Lied ist dermaßen schwer zu singen, Sebastian hat dies mit Bravour gemeistert, zurecht ein 4er Buzzer und für mich ein absoluter Sieganwärter.
So schwer ist das Lied gar nicht. Wir kennen halt nur die näselnde, gequetschte Originalversion von Meine. Und da kommt man ins Grübeln, warum er diese Ballade überhaupt gewählt hat zu singen. War nicht Seine. No pun intended.

@@veryschmidt Ja, Klaus Meines Stimme ist jetzt nicht gerade von großem Umfang oder besonders nuancenreich; da kann ein wirklich guter Sänger einen Scorpions-Song natürlich extrem aufwerten! War eigentlich schon immer so. Herausstechend in der Band war eigentlich immer Matthias Jabs, der wirklich ein exzellenter Gitarrist ist. Das Songwriting bei den Scorpions war/ist da oft einen Tick besser als die solide, abliefernde Handwerksarbeit. Und ich meine nicht unbedingt die Texte...
Einfach nur wahnsinnig, was für eine Range in dieser unfassbar geilen Stimme. Er hat mich vor allem beim Refrain wirklich umgehauen. Ich hoffe, dass Sebastian ganz ganz weit kommt. ER IST THE VOICE ! ❤❤❤

This is not just the best cover, one of the best auditions ever, He is good looking guy with a beautiful family and a good dad. It melts my heart to see how he bent just to be the same height as his daughter and then, went to sit on the stairs next to her... You can't fake that! He is just AMAZING on every level!
Everything about "The Voice of Germany" is infinitely more superior to our American "Voice" version. While we, Americans, are stuck with watching incessant "country music" trash, and the occasional repetitive R&B nonsense, the Germans are delivering masterpiece after masterpiece on their show. This song selection and performance by Sebastian Krenz is a prime example of excellence. Wonderful job.
With all due respect, if you think singers on the german version are better than the US version you have absolutely no idea about singing. The US Voice singers are in an absolutely different league. Sebastian might be great, but the US has thousands of people like him lying around. The Voice Us has the best talent in the world PERIOD.

This is purely an entertainment show. It isn't an admissions audition for The Juilliard School. And the song selections of the American vocal coaches/battle advisors are mostly nauseating. You can have a world renowned vocalist perform “I’m proud to be an American” and it will STILL sound like utter country rubbish. The R&B selections? Nothing but a bunch of people forced into nonsensical dueling vocal acrobatics.
You know someone was good when their performance makes you search the song cause you liked it so much. And on top of that, when you like the original cause it actually sounds similar as well. Most impressive.
I have literally lost count of how many times I've watched this in the past few days! His range is INSANE, Sebastian is my favourite contestant so far, I will be rooting for him for sure! How is his high notes so damn stable like laser beams. No trace of shakiness AT ALL. I'm getting a hard time believing someone can sing live with that level of finesse.

Ich bin ganz ehrlich, als dieser unscheinbare junge Mann damals in den Blinds auftrat habe ich ihn zwar sehr gefeiert, aber ich hätte mir bei der krassen Konkurrenz dieses Jahr nie träumen lassen, dass er wirklich the Voice of Germany 2021 wird. Dennoch absolut verdient, der Kerl ist einfach eine musikalische Maschine! Glückwunsch!

And even the falsetto, to sing these passages in a way that it sounds grounded and established, is pretty good. You can hear, when he sings the encore, the falsetto is not as clear as in the first run through... Anyway, I feel this guy also spreaded such a confidence in his vocal ability and performing this song, considering that you must be nervous also, this was a very very good audition.

@@veryschmidt Ja, Klaus Meines Stimme ist jetzt nicht gerade von großem Umfang oder besonders nuancenreich; da kann ein wirklich guter Sänger einen Scorpions-Song natürlich extrem aufwerten! War eigentlich schon immer so. Herausstechend in der Band war eigentlich immer Matthias Jabs, der wirklich ein exzellenter Gitarrist ist. Das Songwriting bei den Scorpions war/ist da oft einen Tick besser als die solide, abliefernde Handwerksarbeit. Und ich meine nicht unbedingt die Texte...
Einfach nur wahnsinnig, was für eine Range in dieser unfassbar geilen Stimme. Er hat mich vor allem beim Refrain wirklich umgehauen. Ich hoffe, dass Sebastian ganz ganz weit kommt. ER IST THE VOICE ! ❤❤❤

Everything about "The Voice of Germany" is infinitely more superior to our American "Voice" version. While we, Americans, are stuck with watching incessant "country music" trash, and the occasional repetitive R&B nonsense, the Germans are delivering masterpiece after masterpiece on their show. This song selection and performance by Sebastian Krenz is a prime example of excellence. Wonderful job.

With all due respect, if you think singers on the german version are better than the US version you have absolutely no idea about singing. The US Voice singers are in an absolutely different league. Sebastian might be great, but the US has thousands of people like him lying around. The Voice Us has the best talent in the world PERIOD.
@@mikemuller2192 respectfully, you did not comprehend my original comment at all. My criticism of the American “The Voice '' is rooted in the basic fact that it mostly fails to deliver. This is purely an entertainment show. It isn't an admissions audition for The Juilliard School. And the song selections of the American vocal coaches/battle advisors are mostly nauseating. You can have a world renowned vocalist perform “I’m proud to be an American” and it will STILL sound like utter country rubbish. The R&B selections? Nothing but a bunch of people forced into nonsensical dueling vocal acrobatics.
In some way yes, I agree. They badly need to change their judges every season. That's the only way possible they can provide "variety" to the show.
You know someone was good when their performance makes you search the song cause you liked it so much. And on top of that, when you like the original cause it actually sounds similar as well. Most impressive.
