Destined death attacks work against those frenzied eye monsters. You get Maliketh's weapon, incantation, the dark knife assassin blade, the militiamen, and black knife spirit summons, which all can deal destined death damage on the frenzied lantern enemies. The attacks won't stun them, but they will drain their life bars and kill them. So yeah, those enemies are not Invincible, people are just too stupid to test if the lore is true. BTW, Melina hinted at destined death hurting the frenzied flame in the frenzied flame ending, so I don't understand how everyone missed that big-ass hint.
Getting kicked of torrent actually made me really excited to explore this location. The area is so interesting and the idea of an unkillable enemy trying to hunt me had me soooo happy. Honestly wish they patrolled literally the entire area at random.
I fully agree. I wish there were more of them as well. It is a haunting and chilling area that was fun to explore but pretty empty over all. I wanted to fight more of them. Oh well.

For those having a hard time parrying i found that using the buckler shield, which has the "buckler parry", is a lot easier to time in my opinion. I sucked at parrying but that shield made it easier for me
Yeah that shield has a few more parry frames making it easier to land a parry. You can also use the golden parry aow on a shield to make it easier as well.
Abysmal Woods was my favorite setting in all of Dark Souls 1,2, & 3. Tough not too tough though. Reminds me of Sleepy Hollow with a Haunted Mansion. I just wish U could go around the back of the mansion & if it had a catacomb in the back.
The real surprise was realizing they only occupied 5% of the zone and practically most of the lands are empty. If not, they’re very small areas occupied by rats and frenzied followers. Even then, most of them are there only because there are resources you can collect that seem to link to their lore. Other than that, the only path worth going to is the church and the manse. Although it is still crucial to get the graces to save the leg work you would have to put into to sprint all the way to the manse. Ultimately, it is as empty as the two large finger areas.
@@BonfireBasics I think some aspect of the DLC are just the developers testing the water on whether or not these could be incorporated in their next game, that’s why they’re so small or few.
Cool video. Two things: 1. The knife that Tiche uses (I forget the name) can kill these but it take a long time 2. The talisman - you use it by making yourself mad using Shabriri's Howl, for example By the way - I saw these in another video somewhere so can't take credit but thought I'd share
Make yourself mad and it will proc the talisman! Same with all other status effect gives buff charms. It literally mean anything in the vicinity of the charm that takes that status effect will make the buff proc.
i was hoping there would be some way to summon torrent in the woods since they clearly show the protagonist on torrent in the first trailer but i guess not

The secret is in the wand when it goes up and is up that moment is the parry block

That's how you can make yourself a big pumper.

I figured it out from messages, but it didn't help. Need to practice parry. 😂
I've never really used parrying as part of my playstyle. It definitely took me a little while to get that footage because I'm bad at it too.
is it me or does the tree kinda look like its ripping it self apart/ kind of (at the right camera angle) looks like a human
😲
It’s extreme effective in PvE
I think with malekiths blade you can kill them to
You can use destined death😂
Not a secret and u can use golden parry
Nah, i'd stealth
Nope you did what all of us did & googled it or looked on TH-cam 🤷♂️
