The box is really heavy, I bought an extra bag to do the job, but I was really happy when I did the unboxing with my bigger brother, and I still have a lot of fun playing Splatoon and Mario Kart 8. I'm still looking for the black Pro Controller and a complete set of four black Wii Remotes to enjoy even more!!
The Wii U is an underrated console, and I also got mine in black. However, the grey power leads and HDMI etc are unsightly. Everything else I have has black leads which look smart and uniform, then I have the cheap looking grey Nintendo stuff mixed amongst it. I replaced the sensor bar with a black one the first chance I got.
Yea i have seen other unboxings.. but alway enjoy seeing yours so much better to watch and you go in depth and explain.. always will watch your videos keep up the good stuff.

But I'm sure the regular Wii will drop to $99 or something straight after Christmas, so it's not a bad option. Heck, the controllers themselves are so expensive, that buying a Wii would be like a down payment for the Wii U, you're not losing money when you're buying the controllers.
Tablet gaming is a big thing, but it's missing one crucial thing: normal buttons and sticks. Wii U can really do great things with this. So great, that I'm quite sure at least Sony or Microsoft, if not both, will copy the touch pad into their next controllers. So yeah, it is innovative.
It's only too small if you're planning on buying whole games digitally. Wii U games don't require installing, so the 32GB might easily be enough for just saves and Virtual Console games for the whole generation. Possible GameCube game downloads might fill it up, though.
Interesting- that extra Stylus from the accessory pack is actually the XL stylus from the DSi XL. Probably been mentioned before, but I still thought it was kind of neat.

Since Microsoft/Sony are probably going to release their new consoles (which i expect to be at least twice as "fast" as the WiiU) at the end of next year... "meh"

You can play many games on the screen. But that's just a bonus, all games can be played on the TV, of course.

Yes, very happy with the hardware, the screen and everything, and New Super Mario Bros U is probably the best 2D-Mario in... 15 years.
It's about the same, the real value is in the control methods.

you can put external hard drives on the wii u to expand the storage, up to 2 tb per disc

Spec wise, atleast about 50% better. Graphic wise as of right now, not too much better.
